Composite Wood Board
In a stack of composite wood boards, the wood boards comprise wood particles and an organic binder.
Process for binding lignocellulosic materials using polyisocyanate compositions
A process for binding lignocellulosic material comprising the steps of a) bringing lignocellulosic material into contact with a methylene bridged polyphenyl polyisocyanate composition and b) subsequently allowing said material to bind wherein said polyisocyanate composition has a surface tension below or equal to 46 mN/m.
WOOD PARTICLE BOARDS
The present invention relates to a multi layer particle board comprising at least one core layer and two surface layers, the core layer particles being bonded by a resin binder other than a carbohydrate based binder resin, and the surface layer particles being bonded by a carbohydrate based resin, and to a process for making same.
ARTICLES MADE FROM LIPOPHILIC-RICH CELLULOSIC MATERIAL AND METHODS THEREFOR
The invention relates to systems and techniques for manufacturing articles containing cellulosic material, a tackifier, and a binder, and related processes of making and using the cellulosic articles. In particularly exemplary embodiments, the manufactured articles are door skins, sometimes known as door facings, and doors made from the door skins. The article contains a lipophilic cellulosic material, a tackifier, and a binder.
Method for manufacturing reconstituted bamboo lumber for outdoor bamboo flooring
In one aspect, a method for manufacturing outdoor bamboo flooring may include steps of: (i) cutting one or more pieces of bamboo lumbers into a predetermined length; (ii) splitting and defibering the bamboo lumbers into reticular fiber bundles; (iii) conducting a high-temperature treatment to dry the bamboo lumbers in step (ii), immersing them with glues, and then conducting a second drying; (iv) performing pressing and curing on the bamboo lumbers treated in step (iii); and (v) cutting the bamboo lumbers in step (iv) into a predetermined of pieces.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A WOOD-BASED PANEL
The present invention concerns a method for the manufacture of a wood-based panel comprising providing wood fibers which are impregnated with a phenolic resin, the ratio of resin (based on the solids content) to wood fibers being 10 to 50% by weight. The impreganted fibers are pre-compacted in a press at press temperatures below 110° C. to a chemically reactive fiber board and then pressed to compact panels at temperatures between 130 and 180° C.
Method for increasing the reacitivity of lignin, and a resin composition comprising said lignin
The present invention relates to a method for increasing the reactivity of lignin which method comprises the following steps; providing a mixture comprising lignin and an alkali solution wherein the concentration of the alkali solution of the mixture is between 5-50% by weight, storing said mixture for a period of at least 1 day whereby the reactivity of the lignin is increased. The present invention also relates to a resin composition comprising said lignin and use of said resin composition.
Lignin-based phenolic resin
The present invention relates to a lignin-based phenolic resin, particularly useful in the manufacture of oriented strand boards (OSB).
Composition, cured product and laminate
An object of the invention is to provide a composition having excellent heat resistance and excellent adhesiveness. Moreover, another object is to provide a cured product obtained by curing the composition and a laminate containing the cured product. Furthermore, another object is to provide a heat-resistant material, a heat-resistant member, an electronic material and an electronic member each containing the composition. The objects are achieved by providing a composition including: a (meth)allyl group-containing maleimide compound having a structure having one or more benzene rings, one or more groups having a (meth)allyl group and one or more groups having a maleimide group; and a hydroxy group-containing maleimide compound having a structure having one or more benzene rings, one or more groups having a hydroxy group and one or more maleimide groups.
