RENEWABLE AND SUSTAINABLE COMPOSITE WOOD COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USING THE SAME
An adhesive composition is disclosed including buffering and pH adjusting agents, a binder protein, an alkali lignin, and a cationic curing agent. The adhesive composition is capable of being tailored for the purpose of making particle board materials of varying degrees, by virtue of modifying the compositional makeup of the adhesive composition. The resulting particle board is free of the conventional chemicals that are present in conventional particle boards, such as formaldehyde. The result is an all-natural, biodegradable, renewable particle board material that can replace conventional materials with a fraction of the environmental impact. Additionally, the material burns much cleaner than conventional materials, so particle board burn pellets can be made from the compositions disclosed herein.
Wood fiber-glass composite
The general inventive concepts relate to engineered wood products. The engineered wood products demonstrate improved properties including acoustic damping, fire resistance, and water absorption relative to similar engineered wood products that comprise only a single source of fibers. In contrast, the inventive engineered wood products include a combination of at least two types of fibers.
Method for dry-forming cellulose products from a cellulose blank structure in a product forming unit and a product forming unit
Method for dry-forming cellulose products from a cellulose blank structure in a product forming unit. The product forming unit includes a blank dry-forming module and a pressing module. The cellulose blank structure is air-formed in the blank dry-forming module onto a forming wire. The pressing module includes one or more forming molds for forming the cellulose products from the cellulose blank structure in a pressing operation. The method includes arranging the forming wire in a stationary mode during the pressing operation.
GLUE FOR BOARDS
A board includes cellulose-containing materials, and a glue that bonds these cellulose-containing materials together. The glue is a glue based on amines, carbohydrates and additives, method for making the boards and a glue for the boards.
DOOR HARDWARE SUPPORTS AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
This disclosure is directed to composite door hardware supports and methods of manufacturing the same. The composite door hardware supports can be formed using a wood particulate. The wood particulate can include a waste product of manufacturing one or more doors. In some cases, the composite door hardware supports can be formed by combining wood particulate with a polymer to form a moldable wood composite and passing the moldable wood composite through a die to form a wood composite extrusion. In some cases, the composite door hardware supports can be formed by scoring the wood composite extrusion at one or more breakage lines. The wood composite extrusion can then be broken at the one or more breakage lines to form the composite door hardware supports.

The engineered wood products demonstrate improved properties including acoustic damping, fire resistance, and water absorption relative to similar engineered wood products that comprise only a single source of fibers. In contrast, the inventive engineered wood products include a combination of at least two types of fibers.
Biomass Clumping Material and Methods
A process for making an animal litter from a woody biomass starting material is described, with the performance amendments substantially located entirely on the outside surface of the woody biomass particles. The process may include the steps of densifying the biomass starting material, crumbling the densified biomass material; screening the densified biomass material for size; optionally adding a zeolite containing a scent; spray coating the sized, densified biomass particles with a surface adhesion agent; and powder dosing the sized, densified biomass particles and zeolites with a performance amendment comprising equal parts bentonite and guar gum.
Composite cellulosic products and processes for making and using same
Composite cellulosic products and processes for making same. In some embodiments, the composite cellulosic product can include a plurality of cellulosic substrates and an at least partially cured binder. Prior to curing, the binder can include a mixture formed by combining magnesium oxide, water, and magnesium chloride. A weight ratio of the magnesium oxide to the magnesium chloride in the binder can be at least 2.2:1 to 8.5:1.
Compositions for Fibreboards With Enhanced Properties Upon Fast-Curing at Low Temperature
The disclosure relates to compositions including a constituent-A, which constituent-A consists of a polylysine component, a XL-component, and a fibrous component which fibrous component consists of at least one fibrous element which fibrous element includes vegetable fibers, and where the fibrous element is free of any fibers other than the vegetable fibers, and where the composition is free of any fibers other than the vegetable fibers of the fibrous component. The disclosure further relates to processes for obtaining an object from the compositions. The disclosure further relates to objects such as sheets, tapes, sticks, strips, films, cloths, containers, boards, panels, beams, frames, planks, engineered wood e.g. fibreboards obtained by said processes.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCTION OF PALLET BLOCKS
Wood scrap and binder components forming raw material (1) of a pallet block are prepared in accordance with predetermined mechanical properties of the pallet block to be produced with a mass equal to the predetermined mass of the finished pallet block. The prepared components are mixed and fed into a press mould (3) of a press die (2), pressed to size, and the binder is cross-linked applying heat externally by the aid of the side walls (11) of the press mould (3) and at the same time internally by applying heat to the central region of the pallet base material (1) via a central forming mandrel (14) conducting hot steam into the pressed the pallet block, thereby promoting the cross-linking of the pallet base material's binder in short time. The invention also relates to an apparatus implementing the method.
