The contoured portion includes contoured corner segments and contoured elongated segments extending between respective pairs of the contoured corner segments. The contoured corner segments have a first maximum thickness. The contoured elongated segments have a second maximum thickness that is greater than the first maximum thickness. Related methods, assemblies, and apparatus are also provided.
AUTOMATIC MACHINE FOR COATING PANELS WITH LEATHER OR FABRICS
Automatic machine (1) for coating panels with leather or fabrics comprising: —a base (2), provided with a fixed perimeter surround (3), containing a vertically movable supporting surface (4) for a coating material (M) and for a panel (P) to be coated; —two pairs of movable clasps (5, 6), arranged on opposing sides of the perimeter surround (3), parallel to the sides of the surface (4), adapted to determine the preliminary pulling of the coating material (M) in a transversal and longitudinal direction and then its surmounting and folding onto an upper face of the panel (P) to be coated; —means of reversibly lowering the surface (4); —a frame (7), in one piece with the base (2) and above it, carrying a hydraulic piston (8), arranged perpendicular to the surface (4), adapted to block the panel (P) to be coated on the coating material (M) subjected to pulling; —an electronic command and control unit for the moving parts.
Method for the production of multilayer laminated board and resulting board
The method is carried out by means of the stacked deposition of a series of layers of fibers and/or particles with a binder material and/or other chemical additives on a conveyor belt until a multilayer mat is produced, in which the layers are physically different from one another. The method comprises: defining the final thickness and density of the board; defining the number of layers forming the board and the type of material to be used for each layer; selecting and preparing the constituent material of each layer to be formed; depositing, in a stacked and staggered manner, the layers previously defined according to weight per m2 of each layer; pre-compacting and, optionally, pre-heating the mat; compacting the mat using pressure and heat. The invention also relates to the board produced using said method for the production of a symmetrical or asymmetrical, stable board.
PROCESS FOR PREPARING A BONDING RESIN
The present invention relates to a process for preparing a bonding resin, wherein lignin is provided in the form of an aqueous solution and mixed with one or more of glycerol diglycidyl ether, polyglycerol diglycidyl ether, polyglycerol polyglycidyl ether, glycerol triglycidyl ether, sorbitol polyglycidyl ether, alkoxylated glycerol polyglycidyl ether, trimethylolpropane triglycidyl ether, trimethylolpropane diglycidyl ether, polyoxypropylene glycol diglycidylether, polyoxypropylene glycol triglycidyl ether, diglycidylether of cyclohexane dimethanol, resorcinol diglycidyl ether, isosorbide diglycidyl ether, pentaerythritol tetraglycidyl ether, ethylene glycol diglycidyl ether, polyethylene glycol diglycidyl ether having 2-9 ethylene glycol units, propylene glycol diglycidyl ether having 1-5 propylene glycol units, and/or diglycidyl ether of terminal diol having a linear carbon chain of 3-6 carbon atoms; and optionally one or more additives. The bonding resin is useful for example in the manufacture of laminates, mineral wool insulation and wood products such as plywood, oriented strandboard (OSB), laminated veneer lumber (LVL), medium density fiberboards (MDF), high density fiberboards (HDF), parquet flooring, curved plywood, veneered particleboards, veneered MDF or particle boards.
WATERPROOF WAX, WATERPROOF TREATMENT METHOD FOR SPLICING PART OF FLOORBOARDS AND SPLICE FLOORBOARD
A waterproof wax, a waterproof treatment method for a splicing part of floorboards and a splice floorboard, relating to floorboards. The waterproof wax includes 60-85% by weight of a first paraffin, 1-15% by weight of a silicone resin, 10-20% by weight of ethylene glycol dimethacrylate, 2-5% by weight of amino silicone oil and 0.1-1% by weight of alkenyl succinate.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING A BOARD FOR PRODUCTION OF PANELS, BOARD FOR PRODUCTION OF PANELS, METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING PANELS, AND PANEL PRODUCIBLE BY THE METHOD
A method is provided comprising: providing particulate material comprising or consisting of particulate wooden material, producing glued particulate wooden material by applying an adhesive to the particulate wooden material, forming a spreading material mat by homogeneously spreading the glued particulate material onto a conveyor on which the spread glued particulate material is conveyed in a conveying direction, and producing a board by pressing the spreading material mat during conveying on the conveyor. Furthermore, a reinforcement material is applied to the spread glued particulate material perpendicular to the conveying direction during forming the spreading material mat and/or after forming the spreading material mat before any pressing of the spreading material mat such that the spreading material mat has at least one longitudinal reinforcement zone containing the reinforcement material. Boards can be obtained, from which panels can be produced having reinforced longitudinal and/or transversal edges.
METHOD TO PRODUCE A VENEERED ELEMENT AND A VENEERED ELEMENT
A method to produce a veneered element, the method including applying a first layer on a substrate, applying a second layer on a veneer layer, applying the veneer layer with the second layer applied thereto on the first layer, such that the second layer is facing the first layer, pressing the first layer, the second layer and the veneer layer together to form a veneered element, thereby material originating from the second layer permeates into the veneer layer, and wherein, after pressing, the first layer is visible through a crack, cavity, hole and/or knot of the veneer layer. Also, a veneered element.
