Multi zone cementitious product and method
A multi-zone cementitious product, which includes a base zone made of a first cementitious material composition and forming a portion of the product. At least one facing zone is adjacent to and bonded to the base zone, the facing zone made of a second cementitious material composition and forming at least one exterior face of said product which is visible when the product is installed. A disrupted boundary layer is between the facing zone and the base zone, and includes material from both the facing zone and the base zone. The disrupted boundary layer bonds the facing zone to the base zone. The facing zone has a thickness sufficient to prevent the base zone from being visible when the product is installed.
METHOD FOR INJECTING A LOADED SUSPENSION INTO A FIBROUS TEXTURE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A PART MADE OF COMPOSITE MATERIAL
A method for injecting a loaded suspension into a fibrous texture having a three-dimensional or multilayer weaving includes the injection of a suspension containing a powder of solid particles into the volume of the fibrous texture. The injection of the loaded suspension is carried out by at least one hollow needle in communication with a loaded suspension supply device, each needle being movable in at least one direction extending between a first face and a second opposite face of the fibrous texture so as to inject the loaded suspension at one or more determined depths in the fibrous texture.
Assembly and use of a geometrically compact powder layer
The invention relates to an additive production method involving the production of a layer of geometrically compact particles, having the following steps: a) providing a particle layer depositing arrangement, comprising a first and a second semi-chamber, wherein a partition separates the first semi-chamber from the second semi-chamber, and the partition is permeable for a dispersion medium and impermeable for particles dispersed in the dispersion medium; b) providing a particle dispersion comprising the dispersion medium and particles dispersed therein in the first semi-chamber, the particle dispersion being distributed substantially homogenously in the first semi-chamber; c) generating a pressure gradient between the first and the second semi-chamber such that the pressure gradient in the first semi-chamber causes a particle dispersion flow directed towards the partition; and d) depositing a particle aggregate material comprising geometrically compact particles on the partition by transporting a dispersion agent into the second semi-chamber.

A novel metal oxide or a novel sputtering target is provided. A sputtering target includes a conductive material and an insulating material. The insulating material includes an oxide, a nitride, or an oxynitride including an element M1. The element M1 is one or more kinds of elements selected from Al, Ga, Si, Mg, Zr, Be, and B. The conductive material includes an oxide, a nitride, or an oxynitride including indium and zinc. A metal oxide film is deposited using the sputtering target in which the conductive material and the insulating material are separated from each other.
Additive manufactured multi-colored wall panel
This invention is an additively manufactured wall panel using computer aided design (CAD) and computer aided manufacturing (CAM) to design and manufacture multi-colored and multi-layered wall panels. This results in a variety of highly attractive, multi-colored wall panel faces ranging from brick, colored grout lines and multi-colored stones to multi-colored geometric designs. The design and manufacturing process greatly reduces the amount of precast cementitious materials by efficiently using higher quality materials. This reduces cost and weight while simultaneously producing a much more comprehensive, multi-functional wall panel complete with an interior frame, exterior insulation and an air, vapor and moisture barriers.

The high-whiteness MGO substrate includes a surface layer and a substrate, wherein the substrate is prepared from a forming agent, a lightweight filler, a modifier and water in parts by mass as follows: 40-49 parts of light burned magnesium oxide powder, 18-25 parts of magnesium sulfate heptahydrate, 16-25 parts of a polyvinyl alcohol solution, 16-20 parts of a plant powder, and 0.5-2 parts of a modifier; the modifier being obtained by mixing citric acid, phosphoric acid, and sodium sulfate in a mass ratio of 10:3:6.
ADDITIVELY MANUFACTURED STRUCTURE WITH REINFORCED ACCESS OPENING
A method and system of additively-manufacturing a structure having a reinforced access opening includes printing, via an additive printing device having at least one printer head, a portion of the structure adjacent to a support surface. The portion of the structure is printed of a cementitious material, and the printed portion of the structure defines an access opening for the structure. Moreover, the method includes providing a void of the cementitious material at a top boundary of the access opening, placing one or more reinforcement members in the void such that the one or more reinforcement members extend across the void, and continuing to print the printed portion of the structure around the void to build up the structure. Thus, the method also includes backfilling the void with a backfill material to incorporate the one or more reinforcement members within the void into the printed portion of the structure.

A system and method for providing a non-corrosive surface. In some embodiments, the system includes a concrete surface, a metal substrate coupled to the concrete surface, and a non-corrosive coating applied to the metal substrate. The non-corrosive coating includes a chemically inert polymer comprising EPDM rubber and an additive.
