SPORK STRUCTURE
A spork structure includes a spoon body, a handle, and two outer serrated plates and at least an inner serrated plate arranged apart from one another at the front end of the spoon body. The inner serrated plate has a height difference portion, and the spork structure is integrally formed by pressing a plant fiber slurry, and the height difference portion is provided for enhancing the structural strength of the inner serrated plate, so that the spork structure has a better structural strength to pierce through food such as steaks, pork chops, vegetables, and fruits, and the spork structure is 100% decomposable naturally after being discarded, and thus having an environmental protection effect.
Drinking Straw
A drinking straw being formed as a hollow tube having two ends in fluid-communication with each other, the drinking straw comprising: an aluminum foil tubular layer, and a pulp tubular layer attached to the aluminum foil tubular layer in such a manner that one surface of the pulp tubular layer completely overlaps on one surface of the aluminum foil tubular layer.
MICROWAVEABLE VESSEL
Some embodiments provide a microwaveable vessel that can quickly and evenly heat or cook different types of food. In some embodiments, the vessel includes a metallic body adapted to hold food or drinks. The outer portion of the body is coated with a layer of heat-generating glaze. In some embodiments, the vessel also includes a heat-resistant outer cover that covers the heat-generation layer. The vessel of some embodiments has a multi-layered structure with inner and outer shells that are joined together to form a cavity between the shells.
ELONGATED TUBULAR ARTICLES FROM WET-LAID WEBS
Embodiments of the present invention relate to elongated tubular members that include at least one layer comprising a cellulose ester. In some cases, the cellulose ester may be in the form of staple fibers. The layer may be formed via a wet-laid fiber web that may also include cellulose fibers. The elongated tubular members may be suitable for use with food and/or beverage items as, for example, drinking straws or other similar items.
Paper Straw
A paper straw has an inner tube, an outer tube, and a pattern portion. The inner tube and the outer tube are both tubular bodies formed by spirally winding paper sheets. The pattern portion is disposed between the inner tube and the outer tube. The paper sheets that are used to wind the inner tube and the outer tube have light-transmissive properties. Then the pattern portion can be externally displayed through the outer tube or the inner tube, and this can avoid the pattern portion directly contacting food or human body.
Plastic Composition With Spent Filter Media Filler
Spent filter media material may be blended with a classic material, such as high-density polyethylene, polypropylene, polybutylene succinate, or polylactic acid, to form a filled plastic composition. The spent filter media may include spent diatomaceous earth, spent perlite, and/or residues thereof. The composition may be performed by co-extruding a mixture of the plastic material and the spent filter media. Surprisingly, the spent filter media may be used as-supplied and without the need to dry the material. The resulting plastic composite material has numerous uses, including, for example, litter scoops and eating utensils.
METHOD FOR MAKING WOODEN STRAWS AND MOLDING SET FOR MAKING THE WOODEN STRAWS
A method for making wooden straws from a solid wood stick includes a step of providing a solid wood stick; a step of clamping the solid wood stick by a molding set, and two ends of the solid wood stick protruding beyond the molding set, and a step of drilling an axial passage through the solid wood stick by at least one machining unit to form a wooden straw. The wooden straws are bio-degradable and durable. The wooden straws do not affect beverage taste and can be manufactured in mass production. The molding set for making the wooden straws includes two dies and each die includes a groove. The solid wood stick is accommodated in the two respective grooves. At least one machining unit is used to drill an axial passage through the solid wood stick to form the wooden straw.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR A WEARABLE STRAW
A wearable straw includes a spring spine and an overmolded body portion, the overmolded body portion including a tube portion, the tube portion running a length of the spring spine, the overmolded body portion molded over the spring spine. In one alternative, the spring spine has a first configuration where the spring spine is uncoiled and a second configuration where the spring spine is coiled.
APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING ECO-FRIENDLY STRAW
Proposed is an apparatus for manufacturing eco-friendly straws and, more particularly, an apparatus for manufacturing eco-friendly straws, which prevents environmental pollution by using wood as a raw material for easy recycling and waste treatment, and improves manufacturing efficiency and product quality by automatically performing all manufacturing processes. The apparatus includes a supply unit configured to supply a raw material, a processing unit configured to process the raw material, and a transfer unit configured to move the raw material supplied from the supply unit to a position for processing in the processing unit.
SLAP BRACELET DRINKING STRAW
A dynamically deployable band. The dynamically deployable band includes a bistable metal spring body sized in length to coil around a limb of a human. The bistable metal spring body has a straight state and a coiled state. A straw is coupled to and spans along a substantial length of the bistable metal spring body.
