A quad-centric nozzle and system for hydrocapsule encapsulation is disclosed. In at least one embodiment, a quad-centric nozzle is disclosed for encapsulating discrete droplets of liquid by generating a continuous coating or layer of a polymerizable liquid which is substantially immiscible with the core liquid. In at least one embodiment, the quad-centric nozzle includes: a material feed port assembly, a polymer feed port assembly, a first water feed port assembly, a second water feed port assembly and an encapsulated material exit port assembly. In at least one embodiment, the quad-centric nozzle is configured for use in a system for hydrocapsule encapsulation having a pressure control system, a water control system and sparging column, and an ultraviolet exposure chamber system.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PRODUCING A THREE-DIMENSIONAL PRINTABLE MATERIAL FROM IGNEOUS ANORTHOSITE ROCK

Systems and methods for preparing a three-dimensional printing material derived from aluminosilicate material are provided. The method includes the steps of heating an amount of aluminosilicate powder to a temperature between approximately 1,100? C. and approximately 1,750? C. to form a molten aluminosilicate material; maintaining the molten aluminosilicate material at a temperature between approximately 1,100? C. and approximately 1,750? C. between about one minute and approximately 45 minutes; extruding molten aluminosilicate material through a nozzle to form an elongated bead of molten aluminosilicate material; and cooling the molten aluminosilicate material to form a hardened aluminosilicate material. Once hardened, the aluminosilicate material includes between about 50% and 90% feldspar and demonstrates a strength of between about 5,000 psi and 30,000 psi. The systems and methods enable the construction of structures using raw, in-situ natural resources without the need for additives to adjust or modify the viscosity of the molten material prior to extrusion or printing.

There is provided a method of manufacturing a concrete product. A composition including a slag-based binder, an aggregate, water and an additive selected from the group consisting of calcium chloride, ground eggshells, sodium carbonate, sodium bicarbonate, sodium hydroxide, fine calcium carbonate, calcium oxide, borax, ammonium chloride and combinations thereof, is mixed to obtain a concrete mixture. The concrete mixture is formed into a desired shape to obtain a formed concrete, the formed concrete having a first water-to-binder ratio. The formed concrete is dried to obtain a dried concrete having a second water-to-binder ratio less than the first water-to-binder ratio. The concrete mixture is carbon cured to obtain the concrete product.

The brick may be made by mixing thermoplastic material and dry, uncured cement-containing material. This mixture is placed in a mold. After the hardened brick is removed from the mold, the surface of the brick may be sprayed with water to cure cement-containing material on the surface of the brick.
