Tilt-Up and Precast Construction Panels
Improved tilt-up and precast construction panels and improved methods for creating the same address deficiencies in the current tilt-up and precast construction panels. Improved tilt-up and precast construction panels use less concrete and less steel reinforcement and weigh less than current tilt-up and precast construction panels. Additionally, improved tilt-up and precast construction panels have greater insulative properties (both heat and sound) than do current tilt-up and precast construction panels. Improved tilt-up and precast construction panels require less labor on the construction site, thereby increasing efficiency and profitability of construction crews. Additional advantages of implementations of the invention will become apparent through the following description and by practice of implementations of the invention.
Precast Concrete Panel and Method
A precast concrete panel and method for forming the panel are disclosed. A method of forming the panel to be used as a floor, wall, or roof structure includes positioning one or more forming members within a casting bed having a plurality of upright surfaces defining a generally rectangular interior area, the one or more forming members comprising an insulating material extending along a length dimension of the one or more forming members to define a plurality of rectangular-shaped channels in a parallel and spaced-apart relationship, placing uncured concrete within the casting bed and allowing the concrete to cover the one or more forming members and substantially fill the channels, and allowing the concrete to cure.
Plasma treatment for multilayer adhesive bonding element
Method for bonding by wrapping a medium which is capable of expanding transversely to a winding with an adhesive tape, in which: an adhesive tape is unrolled from an adhesive tape roll, the unrolled adhesive tape is provided on one side of a carrier film (1) with an adhesive cement layer (2) and on an opposite side with a separating agent layer (3), the separating agent layer (3) is subjected to a plasma treatment, the plasma-treated adhesive tape is wound around the medium which is capable of expanding transversely to a winding, so that at least a portion of the adhesive tape is bonded to a lower winding ply by the adhesive cement layer (2).
METHOD OF MAKING A BUILDING ELEMENT, AN APPARATUS FOR MAKING THE BUILDING ELEMENT, AND A BUILDING ELEMENT MADE BY THE METHOD
The invention relates to the manufacture of a reinforced slab-shaped building element (E) having a length (L), a width (W) and a thickness, said slab-shaped building element (E) comprising an upper concrete plate anchored to a lower concrete plate with a top surface and a bottom surface, said upper concrete plate being cast from relatively higher strength concrete laid out upon said top surface, said lower concrete plate being of a less strong concrete, said lower concrete plate including a base contiguous with a plurality of raised portions integral therewith, said raised portions being spaced apart in the direction of said length (L) and said width (W), said plurality of raised portions defining between them a network of recesses, at least some of said recesses including reinforcing bars (R), said raised portions and said recesses together defining said top surface.
Precast concrete composite wall
A precast concrete wall structure and method for forming a wall structure are disclosed. A forming member is positioned within a casting bed. The forming member comprises a layer of insulating material defining a plurality of integrally-formed rectangular protrusions extending in a parallel and spaced-apart relationship to one another to define a plurality of rectangular-shaped channels therebetween. The forming member also defines at least one cutout for defining a first portion of a fastener for securing the wall structure to a support structure. A second portion of the fastening member is positioned within the cutout. Uncured concrete is placed within the casting bed and allowed to cure.
Unique Formulations/Mixtures and Unique and Improved Processes for Manufacturing Structural Insulated Panels Systems (SIPS)
The invention is the development of new and unique formulations and mixtures along with unique and improved manufacturing processes for a clear departure for all manufacturing processes in which cement-based formulations and mixtures are commonly utilized in manufacturing SIPS of the prior art and or the teachings of the poured/casted/formed cement based formulations/mixtures and manufacturing processes of the prior art of building/construction industry. The invention serves the current building/construction industry with new and unique formulations and mixtures along with unique and improved manufacturing processes that produce SIPS with enhanced performance characteristics which are unparalleled teachings not present, nor found in any of the prior art.
Pre-stressed insulated concrete panels and methods for making and using the same
Pre-stressed insulated concrete panels are disclosed. Methods of making and using pre-stressed insulated concrete panels are also disclosed.
Insulated structural members for insulated panels and a method of making same
A hybrid structural member for an insulated structural panel includes a core member surrounded on at least two sides by a high-density structural foam. The hybrid structural member may be manufactured by placing a core member in a cavity of an injection mold and surrounding the core member by insulating foam on at least two sides. The core member may be held in place by screws, posts, pins, a vacuum, or other suitable means.
Method for producing a concrete component, prefabricated structural element of a concrete component, and concrete component
The present invention relates to a method of producing a concrete component (15), to a prefabricated structural element (3), which serves as a semi-finished product for the production of the concrete component (15) made in this way, and to a corresponding concrete component (15). The method claimed involves the following steps: producing a prefabricated structural element (3) comprising first reinforcement structures (18), which feature textile reinforcement structures, and first thermal insulation elements (6), pouring concrete into a shell mold (13) to form a first concrete layer (11), lowering the prefabricated structural element (3) onto the first concrete layer (11).
