METHOD FOR MAKING A COMPOSITE PANEL, PREFERABLY CEMENTITIOUS MORTAR BASED, WITH LIGHT TRANSLUCENY PROPERTIES
The present invention relates to a method for making a composite panel comprising a pourable and settable base material, preferably cementitious mortar, and a plurality of through elements (10) made of glass for transmitting light between two base surfaces (1,1) of the panel (1). The method includes making a semi-finished product comprising a central body (50) which incorporates the through elements (10), which emerge from two mutually opposite main surfaces (51,52). In particular, the method includes making the semi-finished product by defining two containing frames, mutually opposite with respect to the body, each of which emerges from one of the central surfaces. The method includes closing the semi-finished product between two containing elements so as to define two half-spaces, each of which at least partially delimited by said containing frames. The method then includes filling each half-space with cementitious mortar and removing the manufactured item which is made, after the mortar has set. Finally, the method includes finishing such a manufactured item by eliminating the containing frames from the semi-finished product, the body of which remains incorporated in the structure of the panel.
COMPOSITE PANEL WITH LIGHT TRANSPARENCY PROPERTIES AND METHOD FOR MAKING SAID PANEL
The present invention relates to a composite panel (1) made of pourable and settable material, preferably cementitious mortar. The panel comprises through elements (10) made of glass for transmitting light between two base surfaces (1,1) of the panel (1). The panel comprises a structure (5) made by sintering heat-expanding plastic material about said through elements (10) so that a central part (12) of said through elements (10) is incorporated into said structure (5). The panel further comprising a first main portion (23) and a second main portion (24), each of which incorporates an end part (13,14) of the through elements (10). The two main portions (13, 14) are connected by a plurality of through portions (25) in said base material which extend through the inner structure (5). The present invention further relates to a semi-finished product (8) for making said panel (1) and to a method for making said panel base on the use of said semi-finished product (8).

TRANSLUCENT BUILDING ELEMENT AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SAME
The present invention is related to translucent building elements, and more specifically to their manufacture. The present invention comprises a method for the manufacture of an insulating core element for a translucent building element, an insulating core element for a translucent building element, a method for the manufacture of a translucent building element, a translucent building element, a method for the manufacture of a translucent building wall, a translucent building wall, and a method for the manufacture of a multiple of stacked rows of elongated light-conducting elements for an insulating core element.
Light system for building structures
There is provided embedded light guiding parts that allow for light, signals or live images to appear on its surface. Specifically there is provided a light system having an array of rods made in a hard transparent or translucent polymer material embedded in a building material. The tapered rods are held together by a back-bone that connects the bases of the tapered rods to achieve an evenly distributed array of tapered rods, preferably having the same orientation, wherein the rods are adapted to receive a light input at the base ends and to transmit the light output at the front ends of the rods.
METHOD FOR MAKING A CEMENTITIOUS MORTAR BASED COMPOSITE PANEL WITH LIGHT TRANSLUCENCY PROPERTIES AND A STRUCTURE OF LIGHT TRANSLUCENT MATERIAL
The present invention relates to a method for making a cementitious mortar based composite panel comprising portions made of translucent material which are developed from a first side (1) of the panel (1) to a second side (1) opposite to the first side. The method includes making a monolithic structure (3) made of light translucent material provided with a base (10) and a plurality of elements (12,12,12) which develop from said base (10). The structure is made by means of a plastic injection molding process. The method includes arranging such a structure inside a formwork so as to arrange all the elements in the predetermined position for the subsequent step of pouring in a single operation. The method finally includes finishing off the cementitious mortar obtained following the hardening of the cementitious mortar, by eliminating said base (10) of said structure (3) and by defining said flat sides (1,1) of said panel (1).
