Method and apparatus for making asphalt concrete using aggregate material from a plurality of material streams
A combination of components is provided for use in making asphalt concrete from a plurality of aggregate material streams. The combination includes an indirect dryer for heating aggregate material from a first material stream without directly exposing said first stream material to hot gases of combustion. The combination also includes a mixer for mixing aggregate material from the first material stream, aggregate material that has not been heated in the indirect dryer from a second material stream, and a binder component to produce asphalt concrete.
System and method for high throughput preparation of rubber-modified asphalt cement
This invention encompasses rubber modified asphalt cement compositions, as well as systems, apparatuses, methods for preparing, as well as methods for using rubber-modified asphalt cement compositions.
System and method of applying carbon dioxide during the production of concrete
The present disclosure involves systems and methods for applying CO2 to concrete, which may be performed in-situ or through a separate, stand-alone process. According to another embodiment disclosed herein, a system and method for applying CO2 to one or more materials used in the production of concrete is also provided.
Method of processing unhardened concrete
Methods and an associated system for processing unhardened concrete are disclosed. With these methods, the porosity of the unhardened concrete is significantly increased to decrease the strength so much that it can be easily broken up for sale or reuse. In at least one embodiment, the method includes adding a large volume of foam to the returned unhardened concrete and then mixing the foam with the returned concrete in the ready-mix concrete truck or other concrete mixing devices at any location including the jobsite, enroute to the concrete plant, or at the concrete plant. Through the mixing of foam with the returned concrete, the hydrated cement and aggregate particles are separated by large volumes of air voids, which significantly increase the porosity and dramatically reduce the strength of the returned concrete. The treated concrete is discharged and allowed to solidify in this weakened state, after which it is easily broken into loose particulate material that can be sold or reused.

MIXER, METHOD OF MIXING RAW MATERIAL FOR POWDER METALLURGY BINDER FOR INJECTION MOULDING COMPOSITION
Mixer for ceramic feedstock pellets with a tank, a mixing means, and heat exchange means including cooling means for the cooling of the content of this tank.
Control means control the heat exchange means which include heating means arranged to heat the content of this tank to a temperature comprised between a lower temperature (TINF) and a higher temperature (TSUP) stored in a memory for a specific mixture, and the heating means exchange energy with a heat exchange and mixing temperature maintenance circuit, external to this tank, and wherein the thermal inertia of this circuit is higher than that of this fully loaded tank.
The invention also concerns a method for mixing raw material for powder metallurgy, implementing a specific injection moulding composition and a specific binder.

Apparatus and method for an asphalt plant
An asphalt plant adapted to use RAP to produce asphalt. The preferred asphalt plant comprises a bin that is adapted to store the RAP, a heat source that is adapted to supply heat, a dryer that is adapted to dry the RAP, a mixer that is adapted the mix the RAP and a means for conveying the RAP from the bin to the dryer. The preferred asphalt plant uses substantially only the RAP to produce asphalt. A method for producing asphalt from RAP comprising providing an asphalt plant adapted to use the RAP to produce asphalt. The preferred method further comprises conveying the RAP from the bin to the dryer, drying the RAP, and mixing the RAP.
