AEROSOL CAN CONFIGURATION
An aerosol can configuration includes an outer can, an inner container and a spray head with a discharge element. The spray head has an outlet valve connected to the interior of the outer can and an outlet valve connected to the interior of the inner container. The two outlet valves are opened jointly by pressing on the spray head, so that the contents of the outer can and the contents of the inner container jointly enter the discharge element. To form a foam, the outer can contains at least 30-70% by weight isocyanate, in particular diphenylmethane 4,4′-diisocyanate, 3-15% by weight polyol with an OH number of less than 300, and 5-30% by weight liquid gas at a critical temperature of ≥+70° C. At least 5-30% by weight polyol with an OH number of more than 300, and 1-10% by weight liquid gas with a critical temperature of ≥+70° C. are contained in the inner container.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING PLASTIC PRODUCTS BY MEANS OF AN EXTRUDER, AND SHAPING SYSTEM
The invention relates to a process for the production of articles, exemplarily a plastic article, by means of an extruder (1) to which a first plastic composition of a first main component and at least one associated minor component is supplied from a first group of dosing stations (21, 24). According to the invention, during the production time of a first production order there is prepared a second group of dosing stations (31, 33) at the extruder for a second production order for which a second plastic composition of a second main component and at least one associated minor component that is different from the first plastic composition has to be supplied to the extruder. After completion of the first production order it is reset to the second production order by terminating the supply of the first plastic composition by closing a first shut-off device (8) and starting the supply of the second plastic composition by opening a second shut-off device (8′).
Heat-resistant chlorine-containing crosslinked resin formed body and method for producing the same, silane master batch, master batch mixture and formed body thereof, and heat-resistant product
A production method comprising: (a) a step of melt-mixing a base resin containing a chlorinated polyethylene; an organic peroxide, an inorganic filler, and a silane coupling agent, in specific ratios, at a temperature equal to or higher than a decomposition temperature of the organic peroxide, to prepare a silane master batch; (b) a step of mixing the silane master batch obtained in the step (a) with a silanol condensation catalyst, and then forming the resultant mixture; and conducting at least one of the melt-mixing in the step (a) and the mixing in the step (b) is performed in the coexistence of a chloroprene rubber or a polyvinyl chloride; a heat-resistant chlorine-containing crosslinked resin formed body produced by the method, a silane master batch, a mixture and formed body thereof, and a heat-resistant product.
Bulked continuous carpet filament manufacturing from polytrimethylene terephthalate
A method of manufacturing bulked continuous carpet filament from polytrimethylene terephthalate (PTT) with polyethylene terephthalate (PET) comprises: (1) splitting the PTT stream extruded from the primary extruder into a number of polymer streams, each of the plurality of polymer streams having an associated spinning machine; (2) adding a colorant to each split polymer stream; (3) adding PET to the extruded polymer stream downstream of the primary extruder; (4) using one or more static mixing assemblies for each split polymer stream to substantially uniformly mix each split polymer stream and its respective colorant and PET; and (5) spinning each polymer stream with its substantially uniformly mixed colorant and any additives into BCF using the respective spinning machine.
VORTEX MIXING AND RATIO ADJUSTMENT SYSTEM
A matter displacement and mixing system having a mixing chamber for material to enter, and a vortex aperture that directs air into the mixing chamber at either a high velocity for violent shearing or lower velocity for gentle mixing. This would depend on the shape of the vortex aperture, or the pressure.
Hydration systems and methods
A substantially continuous stream of aqueous fluid and a substantially continuous stream of gel having a first concentration are combined to form a substantially continuous stream of gel having a second concentration. The second concentration is substantially lower than the first concentration. The gel having the second concentration may thereafter be utilized in conjunction with a well fracturing operation.
ROTOR WITH ANTI-WEAR DEVICE AND FIXATION SYSTEM
In the field of mixing rubber mixtures, o a rotor (100), for use in an internal mixer having a mixing vessel in which the rotor rotates includes one or more blades (104), each blade having a tip (104a) with a profile having a predefined curvature and an anti-wear device detachably fixed to the tip (104a) of at least one blade. The anti-wear device includes a plate (110) with a profile defined by a lower surface (112) with a curvature complementary to that of the tip (104a) and an upper surface (114) with a curvature complementary to that of a wall of the vessel to define, between them, a zone of minimum distance that allows a passage of the mixture between the plate (110) and the wall of the vessel. One or more fastening systems (135) are fitted and tightened with respect to the plate (110) so as to engage the rotor (100).
Method of continuous preparation of reclaimed rubber using multi-stage screw extruders
The invention relates to a method of preparing reclaimed rubber, especially using multi-stage screw extruders, which belongs to the field of recycling and reusing of waste rubber. The rubber powder and softener which were preliminarily mixed are compacted and added into first counter rotating twin screw extruder through thermal insulation and metering apparatus, the softener permeates the waste rubber powder uniformly under the action of temperature in the extruder to finish primary desulfurization of rubber waste powder; add preliminary devulcanized material continuously into second multi screw extruder after cooling by transformation device, rapid desulfurization and regeneration can be achieved by means of activator and shear action; The desulfurized rubber powder is cooled and transported into the third multi-screw extruder in series, the performance of deprocessing can be improved by shear action under low temperature; After extrusion, the recycled rubber is obtained by molding device and cooling device. The whole process is completed under closed oxygen isolation condition, realizing safe, simple and continuous desulfurization regeneration. It is energy saving and environmental protection with excellent properties.
