Composite wheel assembly and method of manufacturing
A composite wheel assembly and method of fabricating the same is provided. The wheel assembly includes a composite wheel rim, a wheel center, and a plurality of attachment fasteners for attaching the wheel center to the wheel rim. The wheel rim includes a plurality of attachment inserts that are configured to selectively engage with respective attachment fasteners. Each attachment insert is encapsulated by a plurality of composite layers of the wheel rim or is otherwise secured to the wheel rim. The attachment inserts extend from and/or are positioned within a drop well region of the wheel rim. The method of fabricating the wheel assembly includes forming first and second preforms and positioning the same onto a mold assembly. The method further includes positioning the attachment inserts between the first and second preforms such that the attachment inserts are secured therebetween.

A composite wheel assembly and method of fabricating the same is provided. The wheel assembly includes a composite wheel rim, a wheel center, and a plurality of attachment fasteners for attaching the wheel center to the wheel rim. A method for manufacturing a golf club head part includes the steps of: sewing at least one roving material onto a base material, so as to form a laminate blank; placing the laminate blank into a cavity of a mold assembly; vacuuming the cavity, and then impregnating a resin material into the laminate blank that is placed in the cavity under vacuum; and thermoforming the laminate blank and the resin material in the cavity into the golf club head part.
Method for manufacturing golf club head part
A method for manufacturing a golf club head part includes the steps of: sewing at least one roving material onto a base material, so as to form a laminate blank; placing the laminate blank into a cavity of a mold assembly; vacuuming the cavity, and then impregnating a resin material into the laminate blank that is placed in the cavity under vacuum; and thermoforming the laminate blank and the resin material in the cavity into the golf club head part.

Methods and apparatus for additive manufactures of complex parts using co-aligned continuous fibers are disclosed. Filament subunits having complex shapes are fabricated and inserted into a mold cavity. The layup is compression molded to form a complex part having high tensile strength.
A SET OF LINING PLATES MADE OF RADIAL TIRES AND A METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING LINING PLATES MADE OF RADIAL TIRES
Disclosed is a set of lining plates made of radial tires to protect pieces of equipment from abrasion and to absorb impacts where said set of lining plates comprises a plurality of lining plates made of radial tires that are laid out next to each other in order to line the surface of a given equipment. The lining plates that make up the set are fitted with tongues and grooves so as to allow them to be joined together and make it possible for a perfect fixation through special hook-type screws in order to secure an effective sealing of the equipment surface on which said plates were installed, thus preventing any material from entering the space between the lining plates. The present invention also relates to a method for manufacturing the lining plates of the set using radial tires.

Three dimensional preform created by preconsolidation of thermal plastic stitched sheet
A two dimensional unitary preform sheet including a substrate and a fiber bundle arranged on the substrate and attached to the substrate by a plurality of stitches of a thread, which may be a thermoplastic thread. The two dimensional unitary preform sheet is configurable into a three dimensional preform. According to embodiments, the fiber bundle includes carbon fibers, glass fibers, aramid fibers, or a combination thereof. According to embodiments, the two dimensional unitary preform sheet is cut in a pattern that is foldable into the three dimensional preform. A method for making a three dimensional preform is also provided, which includes forming a two dimensional unitary preform sheet and placing the two dimensional unitary preform in a press to bend the two dimensional unitary preform into the shape of the three dimensional preform.
