METHOD FOR PRODUCING A FOAM BODY, AND FOAM BODY
20200139593 · 2020-05-07 · ·

The invention relates to a method for producing a foam material body, as well as to a foam material body. A pourable starting granulate of expanded particles of a thermoplastic material is provided, which is subjected to a non-melting heat treatment. As a result, an intermediate granulate is formed with a bulk density higher than that of the starting granulate. The foam material body is then formed by materially connecting the volume-reduced particles of the intermediate granulate by heating the intermediate granulate to a temperature greater than a glass transition temperature of the thermoplastic material in the molding cavity of a molding tool and then solidifying the thermoplastic material by cooling. The foam material body exhibits an overall density between 80 kg/m.sup.3 and 600 kg/m.sup.3.

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY FUEL MADE OF RUBBER AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
20200130235 · 2020-04-30 ·

The invention relates to an environmentally friendly fuel made of rubber and a manufacturing method thereof. The manufacturing method comprises the steps of pulverizing a rubber material into rubber powder; and mixing the rubber powder with a toxin elimination material to eliminate deleterious compositions such as chlorine and sulfur, wherein the toxin elimination material comprises a non-halogen flame retardant and a desulfurizing agent.

Reconstituted composite materials derived from waste made by solid state pulverization
10633506 · 2020-04-28 ·

A method of making polymeric composite particles from polymeric scrap material, virgin polymeric material, or mixtures thereof and glass particles by subjecting a mixture of the polymeric particles and glass particles to a solid state shear pulverization and in-situ polymer compatibilization.

PLASTIC PARTS MADE FROM PLASTICS HAVING DIFFERENT MELTING POINTS AND A METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SAME
20200114543 · 2020-04-16 ·

A method of recycling a mixed plastic waste comprising plastics having different melting temperatures includes conveying the mixed plastic waste through an extruder such that at least some of the higher melting point plastic is passes through the extruder without melting and is present in the extrudate as solid material.

There is provided a flame retardant resin composition, including: an aromatic polycarbonate resin; an inorganic filler; a phosphate ester flame retardant; an organic sulfonic acid flame retardant; a drip preventing agent; and a polyorganosiloxane-containing graft copolymer, in which a content of the aromatic polycarbonate resin is 40 to 95 pts.mass to 5 to 60 pts.mass of the inorganic filler, and a content of the phosphate ester flame retardant, a content of the organic sulfonic acid flame retardant, a content of the drip preventing agent, and a content of the polyorganosiloxane-containing graft copolymer are respectively 1 to 30 pts.mass, 0.01 to 2.5 pts.mass, 0.05 to 1.5 pts.mass, and 0 to 10 pts.mass to the total 100 pts.mass of the aromatic polycarbonate resin and the inorganic filler.

METHOD FOR PRODUCING A DENSIFIED MATERIAL FROM A COMPLEX FILM, PRODUCTION INSTALLATION AND USE

A method for producing a densified material includes: obtaining a film including at least one first layer of plastic material and one second layer with a composition distinct from the first layer, the first layer having a first melting temperature, or obtaining pieces of such a film; compressing the obtained film or the obtained pieces of film through at least one die of at least one extruder, and obtaining a profile of densified material, the extruder including at least one rotary endless screw pushing the obtained film or pieces of film along a screw axis; and optionally cutting the profile in order to obtain granules of densified material, the compression step being carried out at a maximum compression temperature for the obtained film or pieces of film, the maximum compression temperature being less than the first melting temperature. Also disclosed are installation and use of the densified material.
