PIPE COATING REMOVAL APPARATUS
A pipe coating removal apparatus (1) for removing all or some of the coating on a pipe, the pipe coating removal apparatus (1) having a pipe support means (2) for supporting a length of pipe. and further having a tool carriage (3). The tool carriage (3) being capable of supporting two or more different types of pipe coating removal tools (4), (5), (6), (7), (8), (80), (81), (82) and/or (70). The pipe coating removal apparatus (1) being capable of causing relative movement between the tool carriage (3) and the pipe support means (2) to remove all or some of the coating on the pipe that is supportable by the pipe support means (2).

SOLVENT BASED APPROACH TO POST-CONSUMER RECYCLING OF POLYETHYLENE TEREPHTHALATE
A process is provided of treating a feed comprising polyethylene terephthalate comprising dissolving said feed in a polar solvent at a temperature between about 100 to 250° C. to produce a dissolved feed; then adding an anti-solvent that is less polar than said polar solvent followed by cooling a resulting mixture resulting in precipitation of purified polyethylene terephthalate and then separation of solid purified polyethylene terephthalate from remaining liquids.
Method and system for recovering filler material
A method of recovering filler material from a polymer material comprises (a) heating the polymer material to a first temperature; (b) heating the polymer material to a second temperature higher than the first temperature resulting in a pyrolyzed material; (c) elutriating the pyrolyzed material to obtain a separated mixture; and (d) filtering the separated mixture to obtain the filler material.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SEPARATING SYNTHETIC TURF INFILL MATERIAL
A method of separating infill material (105) of synthetic turf is disclosed. The infill material (105) comprises sand (155), rubber (165) and fibres (135). The method comprises combining the infill material (105) with water (106) to form an infill slurry (110), and separating one or more of the sand (155), rubber (165) and fibres (135) from the infill slurry (105). A hydrocyclone (104) may be used to separate the infill slurry (105) into a fibre slurry (107) and a sand/rubber slurry (111). An separation unit (200) for carrying out the method is also disclosed.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SEPARATING SYNTHETIC TURF INFILL MATERIAL
A method of separating infill material (105) of synthetic turf is disclosed. The infill material (105) comprises sand (155), rubber (165) and fibres (135). The method comprises combining the infill material (105) with water (106) to form an infill slurry (110), and separating one or more of the sand (155), rubber (165) and fibres (135) from the infill slurry (105). A hydrocyclone (104) may be used to separate the infill slurry (105) into a fibre slurry (107) and a sand/rubber slurry (111). An separation unit (200) for carrying out the method is also disclosed.

The invention provides an apparatus for de-vulcanisation of rubber from a rubber component, preferably a rubber tire. The apparatus comprises a cleaning device configured to clean and/or sanitize the rubber and a mixing device having at least one rotor configured to de-vulcanise the cleaned and/or sanitized rubber.

The present invention relates to a process for recycling a polyester film that includes comminuting a used polyester film to shreds, the used polyester film including a polyethylene terephthalate polymer, melting the shreds in a twin-screw or multi-screw extruder, filtering the melt, and pelletizing. The present invention further relates to a process for producing a biaxially oriented polyester film that includes melting PET pellets in an extruder, at least 10% by weight of the pellets having been obtained by the process of the invention for recycling a polyester film. The present invention further relates to pellets and to a biaxially oriented polyester film, obtained by the processes of the invention, and also to the use thereof.

The present invention relates to a multilayer, coextruded polyester film that includes at least one outer layer (A) and a base layer (B), in which the at least one outer layer (A) includes to an extent of at least 60 wt % of a copolyester that includes units derived from dicarboxylic acids and diols, in which the units derived from dicarboxylic acids include at least 65 mol % of units derived from terephthalic acid and at least 5 mol % of units derived from 5-sulfo-isophthalic acid and the units derived from diols include at least 90 mol % of units derived from ethylene glycol.
The present invention further relates to a process for producing the film according to the invention, to the use thereof and to a process for recycling the polyester film according to the invention.
