An apparatus for molding articles includes a first mold carrier configured to angularly displace relative to a fixed structure from a first molding position to first accessing position and a second mold carrier traveling with the first mold carrier and configured to angularly displace relative to the first mold carrier from a second molding position to a second accessing position. The first mold carrier may be pivotably coupled to the fixed structure; the second mold carrier may be slidably and rotatably coupled to the first mold carrier. A third mold carrier may be provided, and the second mold carrier may be located between the first and third mold carriers. An articulation mechanism may be provided to control relative motion of the second mold carrier relative to the first mold carrier as the first mold carrier pivots relative to the fixed structure. A method for molding articles is also provided.

The disclosure relates to method and system for managing production of molded polymer or polyurethane products. In the various embodiments, a plurality of autonomous mobile platforms (AMPs) are interchangeably engageable with mold-carrying trolleys to provide self-propelled trolleys. Each self-propelled trolley is advanced through production station(s) and curing station to complete a production cycle. Between production cycles, the trolley may be diverted away for non-production task, e.g. mold replacement, without delaying subsequent or other trolleys. During curing, an AMP may be disengaged from a trolley and redeployed to other trolleys.

The safety device for injection molds comprises: a plate (1) attachable to a fixed part of a mold; a base (4) attachable to a movable part of a mold; wherein the base (4) comprises a safety shaft (10) movable between an unmounted position, wherein said safety shaft (10) is housed in a bore (13) of the plate (1), preventing displacement between the plate (1) and the base (4), and an assembled position, in which said safety shaft (10) is located outside the hole (13) of the plate (1), the displacement of the safety shaft (10) being driven by an actuator (7), allowing displacement between the plate (1) and the base (4). It ensures the connection of the two parts of the mold when the mold is not mounted on the injection molding machine.

A management system includes: a tag given to structures including at least one of a pattern, a molding board, and a molding flask; a storage device; and a control device, wherein the control device is configured to store, in the storage device, collected data and management information being associated with each other, and when a predetermined condition is met in a case where the mold is transferred from a first position to a second position, associate the collected data with management information at the second position based on the information read from the tag, and the predetermined condition is met when the mold having been transferred to the first position along with the structure given the tag is not transferred to the second position along with the structure given the tag, or when the mold is combined with the structure given the tag at the second position.
