SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR LAMINATING A COMPOSITE LAMINATE ALONG A CONTINUOUS LOOP LAMINATION PATH
A manufacturing system includes a plurality of lamination heads and a head-moving system defining a continuous loop lamination path configured to move the lamination heads in series along the lamination path. The manufacturing system also includes at least one lamination mandrel positioned along a portion of the lamination path. The lamination heads are each configured to dispense a layup material onto the at least one lamination mandrel or onto layup material previously applied onto the lamination mandrel while the lamination heads are moved by the head-moving system through one or more revolutions of the lamination path to lay up a composite laminate.
Press for production of a molded part and method for changing a die on a press
A press for producing a molded part from pourable material has an apparatus for driving a die that includes a cylinder unit having a cylinder housing and having a cylinder piston. The cylinder housing is the actuator of the cylinder unit and the cylinder piston is the stator of the cylinder unit.
Injection mold
An injection mold, in particular for encapsulating rotors of electric machines, has a mold, wherein the mold has an arrangement of mold segments. The arrangement forms, along a longitudinal axis, a cavity for a component to be arranged. An exchange unit is provided, which is designed to remove at least one mold segment from and/or insert at least one mold segment into the arrangement, with the result that a size of the cavity can be changed.
METHOD FOR STERILIZING A BLOW MOLDING MACHINE, AND BLOW MOLDING MACHINE
Provided is a method for operating a device for shaping plastic preforms to form plastic containers, wherein the device has a movable support on which a plurality of shaping stations for shaping plastic preforms to form plastic containers are arranged, and these shaping stations each have blow molds that are suitable for and intended for molding the plastic preforms and are arranged at least indirectly on blow mold supports. The blow molds are kept at least temporarily in a magazine device, wherein this magazine device is suitable for and intended for receiving several sets of blow molds.
MOLD CONVEYANCE GUIDE APPARATUS IN INJECTION MOLDING MACHINE
A mold conveyance guide apparatus includes: a linear guide that is attached along a conveyance direction of a mold to a mold attachment surface of at least one of a fixed platen or a movable platen to which the mold is fixed; a slider that is movably attached to the linear guide; and a coupling arm that is swingably attached to the slider in a direction coming closer to or separating from the mold attachment surface and is coupled to the mold in an engageable and disengageable manner.
MOLD CHANGING APPARATUS
A mold changing apparatus comprises a conveyance unit includes a driving force for positioning the mold in addition to loading and unloading a mold into and from the injection molding machine, and a fluid pressure cylinder to assist acceleration and deceleration of the mold in cooperation with the conveying unit.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MANAGING PRODUCTION OF MOLDED POLYURETHANE PRODUCTS
The disclosure relates to method and system for managing production of molded polymer or polyurethane products. In the various embodiments, a plurality of autonomous mobile platforms (AMPs) are interchangeably engageable with mold-carrying trolleys to provide self-propelled trolleys. Each self-propelled trolley is advanced through production station(s) and curing station to complete a production cycle. Between production cycles, the trolley may be diverted away for non-production task, e.g. mold replacement, without delaying subsequent or other trolleys. During curing, an AMP may be disengaged from a trolley and redeployed to other trolleys.
Molding device and system for producing molded article
A molding apparatus provided with a transfer capable of transferring a heavy-weight mold clamping device. The molding apparatus that molds a molded product, includes: a mold clamping device clamping a parison extruded from an extruder to obtain a molded body, a transfer rail to support the mold clamping device in a transferable manner, and an electric cylinder to transfer the mold clamping device along the transfer rail. The mold clamping device includes first and second platens for holding a die, and a clamping drive unit for driving the first and second platens closer to or separated from each other, the electric cylinder includes a motor having an output shaft and a feed screw mechanism that converts the rotary motion of the output shaft into a linear motion.
Device for turning over molds
A device for turning over molds is provided that can reduce the wear of turning over wheels and supporting rollers even when the speed for transporting a flask or the speed for turning it over increases. A pair of turning over wheels (5) are attached to respective sides of a turning over roller conveyor (4), on which a metal flask (3) is mounted. The outer surfaces of the wheels are supported by respective pairs of supporting rollers (6). A driving roller (9) is provided on one or both of the wheels. The supporting rollers are flangeless. Two pairs of side rollers (10) abut the side surfaces of the wheels so as to prevent them from moving in the direction in which the flask is transported. The side rollers are preferably configured so that their surfaces that contact the wheels are formed as arcs.
TOOLING SYSTEM
A tooling system may comprise a device configured to communicate with an identifier of a machine tool and a tool database having tool information including a predefined proximity associated with the identifier. The device may be configured to automatically activate, without a user-initiated scan, communication with at least one of the machine tool and the tool database in response to the identifier being within the predefined proximity. The device may also be configured to transfer tool information of the machine tool with respect to the tool database.
