METHOD FOR CLEANING A MOLDING INSERT
A method for cleaning a molding insert for injection-molding of single-use ophthalmic lens molds comprises the steps of providing an insert holder and a molding surface of the molding insert faces away from the insert holder. A dry ice nozzle comprises an inlet for the supply of dry ice, a nozzle channel comprising a longitudinally extending diverging inner wall portion terminating in an outlet opening of the nozzle channel, and a nozzle housing with a circumferentially running distal end wall. The nozzle housing further comprises a housing wall portion extending away from the distal end wall to define an exhaust channel. The method further comprises positioning the dry ice nozzle on the insert holder, supplying dry ice particles to the nozzle inlet to generate a jet of dry ice particles impinging on the molding surface of the molding insert, and removing exhaust gases.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A PLASTIC FUEL TANK WITH IMPROVED CREEP STRENGTH
A method for manufacturing a plastic fuel tank including: a) inserting a plastic parison including two distinct parts into an open two-cavity mold; b) inserting a core, bearing at least part of a reinforcing element configured to create a link between the two parison parts, inside the parison; c) pressing the parison firmly against the mold cavities, for example by blowing through the core and/or creating suction behind the cavities; d) fixing the part of the reinforcing element to at least one of the parison parts using the core; e) withdrawing the core; f) closing the mold, bringing its two cavities together to grip the two parison parts around their periphery to weld them together; g) injecting a pressurized fluid into the mold and/or creating a vacuum behind the mold cavities to press the parison firmly against the mold cavities; and h) opening the mold and extracting the tank.

A processing apparatus for a vacuum heat-insulating plate, an aerogel-modified polyurethane foam thermal insulation plate, and a preparation method therefor are disclosed. The processing apparatus includes a first frame, a conveying mechanism disposed on the first frame, two edge-pulling mechanisms arranged as mirror images on the two sides of the conveying mechanism, two adhesive tape machines arranged as mirror images on the two sides of the conveying mechanism, and an edge-folding mechanism disposed above the conveying mechanism. The edge-pulling mechanisms, the edge-folding mechanism, and the adhesive tape machines are sequentially arranged along the conveying direction of the conveying mechanism. The aerogel-modified polyurethane foam thermal insulation plate of the present invention includes a polyurethane foam core and at least one thermal insulation pack, the polyurethane foam wraps the thermal insulation pack, and the volume ratio of the thermal insulation pack in the thermal insulation plate is 10%-90%.
APPARATUS, METHOD, AND SYSTEM FOR TENSIONING RELEASE FILMS FOR 3D PRINTERS
Methods, systems, and apparatus for tensioning release film used with resin 3D printers are disclosed. A top and a bottom bracket with a release film positioned between them is removed from a resin vat. The old release film between the brackets is replaced with a new release film. The new release film is positioned between the top and bottom brackets and the top and bottom brackets and release film are positioned in a bottom insert. A top insert is applied to the bottom insert, top and bottom brackets, and release film, providing a tension to the release film. While under tension, the release film is secured to the top and bottom brackets. The top and bottom brackets and release film are returned to the vat.

A process for producing a molded part from a highly filled thermosetting starting material including: introducing the starting material into a prepressing tool; producing a preform from the starting material, the starting material being brought to a prepressing temperature by the prepressing tool and being compressed with a prepressing force to form the preform; removing the preform from the prepressing tool and introducing the preform into a finish pressing tool; and producing a finished part from the preform, the preform being brought to a finish pressing temperature by the finish pressing tool and being compressed with a finish pressing force to form the finished part. Here, the prepressing temperature is lower than the finish pressing temperature and the finish pressing temperature is at least as high as an onset temperature of a curing reaction of the starting material.

A pressware extractor assembly includes an elongated transport rail, a first car, a second car, and a powered drive mechanism. The first car includes a first car frame and a plurality of extractor elements operable to releasably hold respective products. The second car is slidably supported by the transport rail to slide laterally relative to the transport rail along the lateral rail axis, with the first car being supported to slide laterally with the second car. The powered drive mechanism shiftably supports the first car relative to the second car for vertical movement of the extractor elements relative to the mold assembly. The powered drive mechanism is configured to shift the first car between a lowered position, and a raised position, in which the products are lifted by the extractor elements.
