Cooling of build material in three dimensional printing system
A build material management apparatus for a three dimensional printing system is provided having a plurality of conduits to connect to a respective plurality of ports of at least one build material container. Processing circuitry is provided to control coupling of a 5 pump interface to the plurality of conduits to independently set, for at least two of the plurality of conduits, a given air flow parameter for cooling build material in the at least one build material container. A build material container and machine executable instructions are also provided.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR FRYING FOOD ITEM
Device for dispensing a food item into a hot fluid comprises a bowl having a permanent base and a movable plate positioned about the permanent base. A bottom of the bowl defines an opening for receiving a shaft extending therethrough. The shaft is coupled to the movable plate. A shank is selectively engaged with the bowl, the shank having a handle at a proximal end thereof. A lever is pivotably attached to the shank. The pivotal attachment is spaced apart from the bowl. The lever is detachably coupled to the shaft to impart translation of the movable plate. During operation, the lever is manipulated from a first position to a second position to push the shaft to move the movable plate to thereby eject the food item out of the bowl and into a hot fluid.
Transfer method, transfer apparatus, and mold
According to one embodiment, under a condition that a substrate is installed on a substrate installation unit, a mold is installed on a mold installation unit, and a mask unit is installed in a mask-unit installation unit, a transfer apparatus controls an operation of a mold presser unit so as to press the mold against the substrate, the operation of a first positioning unit so as to position the mask unit with respect to the mold and the operation of an irradiation unit so as to irradiate an uncured material provided on the surface of the substrate with electromagnetic waves of a predetermined wavelength.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING CONTACT LENSES
The invention provides a method producing contact lenses, comprising the step of: separating the mold into the male and female mold halves, with the silicone hydrogel contact lens adhered on one of the male and female mold halves; cooling the lens-adhere mold half with the molded silicone hydrogel contact lens adhered thereon; bringing a shaped ultrasonic horn in direct contact with at least one area of a non-optical surface of the female mold half or the male mold half having the molded silicone hydrogel contact lens attached thereon; and applying a ultrasonic vibrational energy to the at least one area of the non-optical surface of the female mold half or the male mold half having the molded silicone hydrogel contact lens attached thereon so as to separate the molded silicone hydrogel contact lens from the mold half attached thereon.
OUTLET DEVICE FOR PRESSED ARTICLES OF A ROTARY TABLET PRESS AND ROTARY TABLET PRESS WITH OUTLET DEVICE
A rotary tablet press with a rotor having a die plate with die bores for producing pressed articles, and with a deflector device for deflecting the pressed articles, which are produced in the die bores and located on the upper face of the die plate in the production process, to an outlet device for the pressed articles, the outlet device includes a conveyor belt for taking over and transporting the pressed articles deflected by the deflector device, wherein the conveying speed of the conveyor belt being adjustable according to the speed of the rotor and/or being adjusted by means of the control device according to the speed of the rotor.
Station and method for curing a tread strip
Station (7) and method of curing for a tread strip (2); provided are: a flat curing mold (9) which is composed of a lower shell (10) and an upper cover (11); and an extractor element (17) which is suitable for extracting the cured tread strip (2) from the lower shell (10) after the curing operation; the cured tread strip (2) has a first wall (13), which has a relief design and is in contact with the lower shell (10), and a second wall (14) which is opposite the first wall (13), and is in contact with the upper cover (11); the extractor element (17) is suitable for adhering to the second wall (14) of the tread strip (2) along the entire length of the second wall (14) itself; and the extractor element (17) is movable perpendicularly with respect to the second wall (14) of the tread strip (2) in order to simultaneously raise the whole tread strip (2) from the lower shell (10).
Systems and methods for modifying mesa sidewalls
An apparatus, method, or platter for modifying mesa sidewalls of a template by cleaning or coating the mesa sidewalls. In which the template has a pattern area on a first surface of a mesa. Mesa sidewalls surround the first surface of the mesa. The mesa sidewalls are exposed to a gas. The gas modifies the mesa sidewalls. Resistance to the flow of gas towards the pattern area is provided.
Method of extracting mandrel for hollow-hat panel production
A panel may be formed with mandrels inside of stiffening members. The panel may be coupled to a panel holding jig. A winch may be coupled to the mandrels. The winch may pull the mandrels out of the stiffening members and into curved tracks.
Compounds and methods for the production of suckerin and uses thereof
Sucker ring tooth (SRT) proteins called Suckerins were identified from the sucker tissue of three distantly related Decapodiformes species. These proteins assemble into silk-like beta-sheet reinforced materials. The use of suckerin proteins to produce fibres, films and tissue scaffolds is also described.
Additive manufacturing apparatus
An additive manufacturing system enables continual production of three-dimensional objects without operator intervention. The system is configured to form an object on a planar member, rotate the planar member 180 to enable gravity to move the object from the planar member to an object transport, which carries the object to a receptacle for storage and later processing. The opposite side of the planar member is then available for manufacture of another object and the planar member is again rotated following manufacture of the object so it can be removed and carried to the receptacle. The alternating formation of objects on opposite sides of the planar member continues until a predetermined number of objects has been made. The planar member can include one or more heaters to heat the surface on which an object is formed to facilitate release of the object once the planar member has been rotated.
