More specifically, the dispersion comprises a metal oxide nanoparticle having the formula (1) MmM′On, wherein M is an alkali metal, m is greater than 0 and less than 1, M′ is any metal, and n is greater than 0 and less than or equal to 4; a zwitterionic stabilizer; and a balance of water. Also disclosed herein is a jettable composition, which includes metal oxide nanoparticles having the formula (1) MmM′On wherein M is an alkali metal, m is greater than 0 and less than 1, M′ is any metal, and n is greater than 0 and less than or equal to 4; a zwitterionic stabilizer; a surfactant; and a balance of water.
METHODS FOR FORMING CLASS-A COMPONENTS WITH MOLDABLE CARBON FIBER
Methods for fabricating Class-A components (CAC) include providing a molding precursor which includes a first and second skin layer each including a fiber reinforcing material embedded in a polymer matrix, a third layer between the first and second skin layers and including a third polymer matrix and a filler material interspersed therein. The fiber reinforcing materials include a plurality of substantially aligned carbon fibers having a plurality of low strength regions staggered with respect to the second axis. The method includes disposing a molding precursor within a die, compression molding the molding precursor in the die, wherein the die includes a punch configured to contact the second skin layer, opening the die to create a gap between the punch and an outer surface of the second skin layer, and injecting a Class-A finish coat precursor into the gap to create a class-A surface layer and form the CAC.
Gate-all-around fin device
A gate-all around fin double diffused metal oxide semiconductor (DMOS) devices and methods of manufacture are disclosed. The method includes forming a plurality of fin structures from a substrate. The method further includes forming a well of a first conductivity type and a second conductivity type within the substrate and corresponding fin structures of the plurality of fin structures. The method further includes forming a source contact on an exposed portion of a first fin structure. The method further comprises forming drain contacts on exposed portions of adjacent fin structures to the first fin structure. The method further includes forming a gate structure in a dielectric fill material about the first fin structure and extending over the well of the first conductivity type.
Mold
The improved mold assembly for cultured marble molding is provided. The mold assembly can comprise a male mold portion and a female mold portion. The assembly can further comprise a molding tool. The molding tool can have a side wall having an upper curved s and a lower curved portion. The molding tool can be constructed from a flexible and/or soft material. The lower curved portion of the molding tool can be coated with a gel coat having a first color. The molding tool can facilitate molding of a countertop having a recessed bowl portion having a color different from a counter portion of the countertop.
Composition and method to form a composite core material
A composite core material and methods for making same are disclosed herein. The composite core material comprises mineral filler discontinuous portions disposed in a continuous encapsulating resin. Further, the method for forming a composite core material comprises the steps of forming a mixture comprising mineral filler, an encapsulating prepolymer, and a polymerization catalyst; disposing the mixture onto a moving belt; and polymerizing said encapsulating prepolymer to form a composite core material comprising mineral filler discontinuous portions disposed in a continuous encapsulating resin.
Polymer Composition and Methods Using Said Polymer Composition to Manufacture Ophthalmic Lens
The present invention proposes a polymer composition of manufacturing ophthalmic lens by polymerization of polymerizable composition wherein the shrinkage phenomenon is minimized. The polymerizable composition comprised two different categories of monomers which are able during crosslinking to control and limit said chemical shrinkage.
The present invention comprises also ophthalmic lens obtained from said polymer composition using a manufacturing process of casting or additive manufacturing.
Decorative panel having a digitally printed pattern
Disclosed is a method of producing a pattern for a decorative panel. The method includes applying a clear gel coat on a mold to form a clear layer. The clear layer is cured and then digitally printed with one or more inks so as to produce a pattern on the clear layer. Also disclosed is a decorative panel including a clear layer, an opaque layer and a pattern digitally printed on the clear layer, between the clear and opaque layers, such that the pattern is visible through the clear layer.
