Provided is a method of manufacturing a sensor. The sensor has a casing having an opening portion, a clamp having a recessed part on its outer periphery and having one end inserted into the opening portion, and a sealing ring attached to the recessed part and disposed between the casing and the clamp. The method includes using a first divided mold to form a first component of the clamp, the first component including a main body portion and a first part located at one end side of the main body portion and forming a part of the recessed part. The first divided mold is divided so that a dividing surface intersects the main body portion and separates in an axial direction of the main body portion.

A device for marking a work piece that is at least partially formed or reshaped through a thermal process is provided. The device includes a plurality of heating elements distributed laterally on a surface that is placed against the work piece and can be individually controlled for local heating of a work piece surface. The molding apparatus further comprising a sample sheet configured to attach to the biological tissue and hold the biological tissue thereon. The sample sheet being further dimensioned to be positioned in the compartment and to be constrained to the position thereof, at least along one direction, by the compartment. The depression is configured for accepting the biological tissue at least partially therein. Thereby the molding apparatus being configured for producing a block of an embedding material having at least one protrusion associated with the at least one depression wherein the biological tissue, attached to the sample sheet, is embedded at least partially in the protrusion.

Providing composite structures with micro contoured surface layer. There is provided a method to adjust roughness level of micro contoured surface layer when manufacturing a composite and products thereof. The micro contoured surface layer may cover all or at least part of the surface area of the composite product. The roughness level of micro contoured surface layer may be increased or decreased by controlling the process parameters. In particular, there is provided a method to increase the roughness level of composite material having a primary surface layer with a primary surface roughness by softening the primary surface layer of the composite material by heating and providing a secondary surface layer of the composite material surface with a secondary surface roughness by cooling the softened surface layer. Further, there are provided methods to determine and visualize the level of micro contoured surface layer roughness on a composite product surface.

According to one embodiment, a template for imprint patterning processes comprises a template substrate having a first surface and a pedestal on the first surface of the template substrate, the pedestal having a second surface spaced from the first surface in a first direction perpendicular to the first surface. A pattern is disposed on the second surface. The pedestal has a sidewall between the first surface and the second surface that is at an angle of less than 90 to the second surface.
Paint Tray for Use with Rollers and Brushes
A paint delivery tool or paint tray, suitable for use in a paint bucket, includes a paint roller grid mounted to a shelf that includes an auxiliary paint receptacle or cut bucket intended for separate use with a paint brush. The upper shelf includes a semicircular rim and lip for mounting the tool or paint tray to the top of a circular bucket. The paint roller grid extends from an opposite straight edge of the shelf and downward into the paint bucket. A paint roller and a paint brush can then be stored and used separately to reduce waste, messes and clean up. The paint roller grid and the shelf can be an integral one piece member, and they can be joined by a living hinge if molded as a plastic member.

An embossed sheet configuring a decorative sheet includes a sheet-shaped base that has translucency, and a plurality of reflective portions provided on one surface of the base. Each of the plurality of reflective portions has a reflective main surface that reflects incident light, and connecting surfaces that are provided between the reflective main surface and the base. Each reflective main surface is rectilinear on a first cross-section and curvilinear on a second cross-section. A gradient of a straight line at a center position of the reflective main surface that is rectilinear on the first cross-section, in relation to the one surface of the base, varies within a range of 40 degrees in each of the plurality of reflective portions. As a result, the reflective portion can reflect incident light at regular and non-regular angles.
