ECO-FRIENDLY CRAYON COMPOSITION AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING ECO-FRIENDLY CRAYONS
A composition for eco-friendly crayon and a method for producing the eco-friendly crayon is disclosed. The composition comprises one or more non-toxic ingredients including soy wax, beeswax, and coloring pigment. The waxes are combined and heated in a heating chamber. The mixture is heated to form a halfway melted mixture. The coloring pigment is added to the halfway melted mixture and stirred until fully dissolved. The dissolved mixture is then poured into a mold and cooled. The cooled mixture is removed from the mold to prepare crayons for use. The crayons are made in a variety of shapes and sizes. The non-toxic ingredients are free of harmful components and prevent crayons from remaining in the user's hand. Further, a method used to prepare the non-toxic crayon uses waxes and coloring pigment without any additional ingredients, thereby providing softer crayons with high level of eco-friendly attributes.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING AN IMPLANT FROM A BIOCOMPATIBLE SILICONE
In a method for producing an implant from a biocompatible silicone, a 3D mathematical model of an implant to be produced is used to create a 3D model of a casting mold for the implant as a negative. The casting mold is produced from a polymeric material through an additive manufacturing process and coated through vapor deposition of a coating material from the parylene family at least in a region that comes into contact with the biocompatible silicone to be cast. A platinum-catalyzed 2-component thermosetting silicone as the biocompatible silicone for the implant is introduced into a mold cavity of the coated casting mold, with a residence time of the implant in a patient's body of more than 29 days. The casting mold is heated to vulcanize the biocompatible silicone, and after cooling down the vulcanized implant is demolded from the casting mold.

MANUFACTURING METHOD OF PROTECTIVE-COMPONENT-PROVIDED WORKPIECE
There is provided a manufacturing method of a protective-component-provided workpiece. The manufacturing method of a protective-component-provided workpiece includes a step of dissolving a thermoplastic resin whose solubility parameter is equal to or higher than 8.5, in a liquid ultraviolet-curable resin, to prepare a liquid mixed resin, a step of supplying the mixed resin to a support surface of a support table to form a resin layer with a predetermined thickness, a step of irradiating the resin layer with ultraviolet rays and curing the resin layer to form a protective component with a sheet shape, and a step of heating the sheet-shaped protective component before or after one surface of the sheet-shaped protective component and one surface of the workpiece are brought into close contact with each other, and causing the sheet-shaped protective component to come into close contact with the workpiece and integrate with the workpiece.
Peroxide treated metallocene-based polyolefins with improved melt strength
Disclosed herein are ethylene-based polymers having low densities and narrow molecular weight distributions, but high melt strengths for blown film processing. Such polymers can be produced by peroxide-treating a metallocene-catalyzed resin.
