MICRONEEDLE ARRAYS FOR CANCER THERAPY APPLICATIONS
A method of forming a microneedle array can include forming a microneedle array having one or more chemotherapeutic agents. The microneedle array can include a base portion and plurality of microneedles extending from the base portion, and the one or more chemotherapeutic agents can be present in a higher concentration in the plurality of microneedles than in the base portion.
DISPENSING DEVICE FOR DOSING POWDERED MATERIAL
A dispensing device for dosing material, preferably powdered molding compound suitable for use with rotational molding machines. The device includes a hopper for receiving and storing the material to be dispensed and a dispensing system that transfers an exact amount of material to a container based upon information contained on an identifying tag of the container that is read by a scanner of the device.
Method for producing a biocompatible three-dimensional object
A method for making a biocompatible three-dimensional object includes delivering, using a delivery system, a biocompatible fluid substance comprising a plurality of particles towards a support body having a matrix surface to obtain a coating layer of predetermined thickness configured for coating the matrix surface, generating a relative movement with at least three degrees of freedom between the support body and the delivery system, and removing from the support body any surplus particles of the biocompatible fluid substance to make uniform the predetermined thickness of the coating layer. The support body is coated with the biocompatible fluid substance to obtain a three-dimensional object having an object surface corresponding to the matrix surface.
Biodegradable elastomeric film composition and method for producing the same
The invention relates to a method to manufacture an elastomeric article includes preparing a former for shaping the elastomeric article; dipping the former into a coagulant solution which including one or more one or more polyvalent metal salt, surfactant, wetting agents, anti-tack materials, non-settling agents, and biocide; dipping the coagulant-coated former into a synthetic latex composition from 20° C. to 40° C. at least once to create the elastomeric article; pre-leaching the elastomeric article for not more than 10 times; vulcanizing the elastomeric article to enable effective crosslinking; surface treating the vulcanized elastomeric article form 60° C. to 140° C.; post-leaching the elastomeric article at temperature of 30° C. to 95° C.; applying donning aid to the elastomeric article; drying the elastomeric article; and stripping the elastomeric article from the former. The elastomeric article has a thickness of 0.001 to 5 mm, a minimum tensile strength of 7 MPa, and an elongation above 300%.

Cartridge array for a three-dimensional printing apparatus
A three-dimensional printing system to print three-dimensional objects and a method of printed are disclosed. The system includes a printing apparatus to print three-dimensional objects and a controller to receive data from a material supply source and to control said printing apparatus.
SLIP RESISTANT SHOE COVER
A shoe cover is a natural latex article with reduced amount of sulfur cross linking agent and accelerators including zinc dithiocarbamate that break catalytically soluble sulfur S.sub.8 sulfur rings forming sulfur linear chains. Surfactants present in the pre-vulcanization composition wets natural polyisoprene particles and permeates small sized sulfur into the interior of these particles thereby pre-vulcanizing the particles. The latex emulsion also has post-vulcanization composition with accelerators that crosslink between particles during the post vulcanization cure cycle. The dipped natural polyisoprene article is substantially uniformly cured both in the inter-particle and intra-particle regions and reliably exhibits high cross link density, uniform distribution of double bonds and zinc segregation at the boundaries or original particles. The natural rubber films exhibit high tensile strength, tensile modulus, tear strength, elongation with low modulus of the shoe cover. The bottom surface of the shoe cover is etched to produce a slip resistant surface.
