SPRAY TRANSFER MOLDED VEHICULAR MATTRESS SUPPORT PLATFORM
Disclosed is a method of fabricating a mattress support platform comprising providing a core material; positioning a first fiber-based substrate on a first side of the core material and positioning a second fiber-based substrate on a second side of the core material; spraying an application material to the first and second fiber-based substrates; and molding the application material to form a vehicular mattress support platform. Also disclosed is a mattress support platform comprising a first fiber-based substrate positioned on a first side of a core material and a second fiber-based substrate positioned on a second side of the core material; and a spray applied application material on the first and second fiber-based substrates, the spray applied application material molded to form a vehicular mattress support platform.
System and method for reprocessing animal bedding
A method and system reprocess soiled animal bedding material commingled with animal manure. In one aspect the soiled animal bedding material is separated in a shaker to send at least a preponderance of the manure to a holding tank. In another aspect the bedding is cleaned, rinsed and color is restored. The bedding material is subsequently dried and a bedding product, fertilizer product, and/or compacted product is formed. Alternatively, the bedding material is dried (without a compacting step) to form a product. In yet another aspect, the steps of separation, cleaning, rinsing and/or color restoration may be omitted.
MOLDED PRODUCTS AND SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MAKING MOLDED PRODUCTS
A method of making a molded product. The method includes obtaining a mold having a cavity defined by interior surfaces and applying a gelcoat into the mold. The method further includes at least partially curing the gelcoat within the mold, dispensing a viscous polymeric material into the mold, and curing the polymeric material while the polymeric material is sandwiched between the gelcoat.
Method for producing carbon fiber reinforced resin molded article, and apparatus for producing carbon fiber reinforced resin molded article
A method for producing carbon fiber reinforced resin molded article of the present invention includes press-molding a mixture-made body including carbon fiber and thermoplastic resin to produce the article that is composed of CFRP. The method further includes perforating pores into the mixture-made body, before press-molding mentioned above. As, in perforating, at least the pores are formed so as to penetrate through a hardened part of a surface of the mixture-made body, the article made of the CFRP that does not have poor appearance, such as whitening or marble pattern, can be produced.
Method for preparing ultra high molecular weight polyethylene composite materials
The present invention provides a method for preparing an ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) composite material including the following steps: providing a substrate material having medical grade ultra high molecular weight polyethylene powders, drying the substrate material to obtain fully dried UHMWPE powders, and pressing the fully dried UHMWPE powders to form a UHMWPE board; immersing the UHMWPE board into a graphene oxide solution and performing an ultrasonic induction by an ultrasonic processor such that the graphene oxide solution infiltrates into the UHMWPE substrate to obtain an ultra high molecular weight polyethylene composite material with excellent biocompatibility and tribological properties. The graphene oxide can be adsorbed and evenly spread on the surface of UHMWPE substrate by ultrasonic induction to form a lubricating film which can effectively reduce wear.
Inductor and method for producing the same
An inductor includes an element containing a magnetic metal powder and a resin, a coil that includes a winding portion and paired extended portions extended from both ends of the winding portion and that is embedded in the element, a pair of an external terminal electrically connected to one of the extended portions and an external terminal electrically connected to the other of the extended portions, and a conductive layer disposed on a surface of the element that crosses the winding axis of the coil. The conductive layer includes a first metal layer formed by fusing together the magnetic metal powder near the surface of the element and a second metal layer formed by plating on the first metal layer. The electrical resistivity of the second metal layer is lower than the electrical resistivity of the first metal layer.
Game call and method of manufacture
In one or more arrangements, a method is provided for manufacturing a game call that incorporates ashes of cremated remains of a pet or loved one. The provided method incorporates the ashes into a polymer mixture used to form one or more components of the game call. In this manner, the resulting game call may serve as a memorial keepsake of the pet or loved one. The ashes are mixed with a polymer and poured into a mold. The mold is shaped for formation of at least one component of the game call. Once hardened, the polymer and remains mixture is removed from the mold and set to cure. After curing, a call profile is cut into the component. The component may be processed, for example, by sanding, wet sanding, finishing, painting, and/or polishing. The component is assembled with other components of the game call to form the game call.
Rigid High-Gloss Wear-Resistant and Scratch-Resistant Flooring
The present disclosure provides a rigid high-gloss wear-resistant and scratch-resistant flooring. The flooring includes a surface layer, an intermediate Spc layer, and a decorative layer that are laminated; where the surface layer is prepared by combining a melamine glue and a color film; the intermediate Spc layer is prepared by mixing polyvinyl chloride resin, calcium carbonate, a plasticizer, and a stabilizer; and the decorative layer is prepared by a high-temperature material. The rigid high-gloss wear-resistant and scratch-resistant flooring is prepared by the melamine glue and the special color film, has an intermediate Spc layer, and has the decorative layer on a back side. The flooring is prepared by three different layers through a high temperature and a high pressure. The flooring has a surface that is highly wear-resistant, extremely scratch-resistant, cigarette burning-resistant, and non-deformable, and is suitable for use in various public places, with various styles, diverse specifications, and stability.
Sound protection panel for cladding a wall of an automotive vehicle
The invention relates to a sound protection panel for cladding a wall of an automotive vehicle, the panel includes a mass-spring system. The panel has a lower spring layer based on a resiliently compressible material, an upper mass layer based on resiliently compressible foam flakes, the flakes being bound together by a two-component fibre-based bonding agent comprising a core. The core is fusible at a high temperature or infusible, and a sheath fusible at a lower temperature, the flakes being fused with the sheath to form an upper agglomerated layer.
METHOD FOR GRAPHENE INCORPORATION INTO A RUBBER COMPOUNDING BY USING LIQUID PLASTICIZER ROUTE - LPR METHOD
A method for producing a rubber composite includes mixing graphene with a liquid plasticizer to create a graphene/plasticizer solution, mixing the graphene/plasticizer solution with solid rubber and curing to form a preform, and shaping and vulcanizing the preform. The graphene/plasticizer solution may be a nonaqueous solution. The present disclosure also relates to a rubber composite part produced by the above-referenced method.
