The masterbatch contains a black pigment and a masterbatch thermoplastic resin, the masterbatch satisfying the following conditions: (Conditions) when a resin plate is produced by kneading 100 parts by weight of polypropylene having a melt flow rate of 30 g/10 min (JIS K7210:1999) and a density of 0.9 g/cm.sup.3 (JIS K7112:1999) with respect to 3 parts by weight of the masterbatch and subjecting the mixture to injection molding using a mold polished by a coated abrasive with a particle size of #800 (JIS R6001:1998), a* values and b* values of a surface of the resin plate in the L*a*b* color system satisfy specific conditions.
Oral care implement having a release component
Described herein is an oral care implement comprising: a handle; and a head coupled to the handle, the head comprising a main body and a release component coupled to the main body, the release component comprising: a water-dissolvable matrix comprising a first polymer having a processing temperature greater than or equal to 130° C.; and a release agent comprising at least one of zinc oxide, potassium nitrate, and tetrapotassium pyrophosphate; wherein the release agent is dispersed throughout the water-dissolvable matrix.
Composition for a polishing pad, polishing pad, and process for preparing the same
In the composition according to the embodiment, the content of an unreacted diisocyanate monomer in a urethane-based prepolymer may be controlled to control the physical properties thereof such as gelation time. Thus, since the micropore characteristics, polishing rate, and pad cut rate of a polishing pad obtained by curing the composition according to the embodiment may be controlled, it is possible to efficiently manufacture high-quality semiconductor devices using the polishing pad.
Injection apparatus
An injection apparatus of the invention injects a molding material supplied from a material supply port, and includes a die, a material supply apparatus that extrudes the molding material that is thread-like or strip-like via the die, and a material guide apparatus that guides the molding material supplied via the die to the material supply port. The material discharge port of the material supply apparatus and the die protrude downward in the material supply apparatus, and a pressure inside the material guide apparatus is reduced by a pressure reducing apparatus from a pressure reducing port provided above the material discharge port of the material supply apparatus and the die.
Interfacial polymerization process for polycarbonate in injection molding manufacturing with use of sulfonic acid as a stabilizer
A composition includes a polycarbonate resin formed via an interfacial polymerization process and from 0.05 ppm to 50 ppm of a sulfonic acid. A molded article formed from the composition may exhibit a yellowness index that is less than that of a reference molded article formed from substantially similar polycarbonate composition comprising the polycarbonate resin but in the absence of the sulfonic acid. Methods for forming the molded article in accordance with the above are also described.
