METHOD FOR PRODUCING AN INJECTION MOLDED PART, INJECTION MOLD AND FAN IMPELLER
A method produces an injection molded part. A plastic material is injected into a cavity for forming the injection molded part. The plastic material in a flow line region of the cavity, where the plastic material from two directions coincides during an injection molding process, is at least partially removed from the cavity via at least two overflow points and, in so doing, is locally swirled or mixed between the overflow points.
Method for forming bicycle frame assembly with integral fastener passage
A method for forming a bicycle frame assembly having a number of elongate tubes is disclosed. A two part mold can be used to form a hollow finish part as part of the assembly. The assembly includes a passage that is defined by the elongate member, a partition, and a bridge. The partition isolates the passage from an interior volume of the elongate tube. The bridge extends in a direction normal to an elongate direction of the passage and defines an inlet and an outlet of the passage. The inlet, outlet, and bridge are generally flush with an exterior surface of the elongate tube and provide a passage that cooperates with a flexible connector, such as a cable tie, for securing supplemental structures, such as brake and shift control cables, to the elongate tube of the bicycle frame assembly.
Production method of producing fiber-reinforced resin molding
A production method of producing a fiber-reinforced resin molding includes: kneading, in a kneader, molten thermoplastic resin with opened reinforcing fibers obtained by opening a bundle of reinforcing fibers, to produce a kneaded mixture; and placing or charging the kneaded mixture into a molding device to produce a fiber-reinforced resin molding.
Golf club head with polymeric hosel
A golf club head includes a face, a club head body, and a hosel. The hosel has a tubular hosel body extending along a longitudinal axis and defining a bore. The bore is configured to receive a golf club shaft or a shaft adapter. The tubular hosel body is molded from a polymeric material that includes a resin and a plurality of fibers, each fiber has a length of from about 0.01 mm to about 12 mm.
COMPACTING AND INJECTION MOLD FOR A FIBER PREFORM FOR FABRICATING A TURBINE ENGINE GUIDE VANE MADE OF COMPOSITE MATERIAL
A compacting and injection mold for a fiber preform is for use in fabricating a turbine engine guide vane out of composite material. The mold includes a shell forming a trough that is to receive the fiber preform and that is closed in leaktight manner by bottom and top covers, compacting blocks arranged inside the trough each having a surface pressing normally against a surface of the fiber preform that is to be compacted, and closure blocks arranged inside the trough. Each closure block has a surface pressing normally against a surface of a compacting block and does not have a surface in contact with the fiber preform.
DEVICE FOR MANUFACTURING OF A FIBRE-REINFORCED POLYMER COMPOSITION
The present invention is directed to a method of manufacturing a fibre-reinforced polymer composition comprising the steps of providing at least one multifilament strand comprising a plurality of continuous fibre filaments, applying an impregnating agent to said strand to form an impregnated continuous multifilament strand, and embedding the impregnated continuous multifilament strand in a thermoplastic polymer material for providing said fibre reinforced polymer composition, wherein said impregnating agent has a low viscosity at application temperature and is applied by jetting said impregnating agent onto the at least one continuous multifilament strand. The invention is further directed to a device for use in such a method.
TRUCK WHEEL
The present invention relates to a hybrid wheel for vehicles that comprises a unitary lug structure, with a mount face and a dish section of the lug structure extending therefrom. The lug structure is usually a cast aluminum alloy. A wheel structure comprising a high strength polymer encapsulates a portion of the lug structure dish section. rim ring(s) are included in the wheel structure and are preferably made of a fiber reinforced high strength polymer.
SCREW FOR INJECTION MOLDING MACHINE, INJECTION MOLDING MACHINE, AND INJECTION MOLDING METHOD
Provided is a screw that is for use in an injection molding machine and that makes it possible to benefit from the kneading effect of a multi-start screw while minimizing the received friction resistance. The screw for an injection molding machine is provided with a first stage 20 on the upstream side and a second stage 30 on the downstream side. The screw for an injection molding machine is characterized in that: the first stage 20 is provided with a compression section 22 comprising a main scraper 25 and an auxiliary scraper 26 having a smaller outer diameter than the main scraper 25; and the second stage 30 is provided with a multi-start screw section 31, said multi-start screw section being provided on the upstream side and comprising a plurality of scrapers, and a fin kneading section 32 provided downstream from the multi-start screw section.
REINFORCING COMPONENT FOR A STRUCTURE OF AN AIRCRAFT OR SPACECRAFT, AIRCRAFT OR SPACECRAFT, AND METHOD
A reinforcing component for a structure of an aircraft or spacecraft has a first component region for reinforcing at least one other element, and at least one second component region, which is permanently connected to the first component region. The reinforcing component is formed using a thermoplastic plastics material in each of the first component region and the second component region. In the first component region, the thermoplastic plastics material forms a matrix in which continuous reinforcing fibres are embedded. In the second component region, the reinforcing component comprises discontinuous reinforcing fibres or is free of reinforcing fibres.
CAGE FOR ROLLING BEARING, AND ROLLING BEARING
Provided are that a cage for a rolling bearing in which seizure or break is not generated under a condition of a high temperature and a high speed in which a dm.Math.n value is not less than 80×10.sup.4, and a rolling bearing using the cage. The rolling bearing 1 is provided with an inner ring 2, an outer ring 3, a plurality of rolling elements 4 interposed between the inner ring and the outer ring and a cage 5 which retains the rolling elements 4. The cage 5 is formed by injection molding a resin composition.
