An elastomer molded body for a medical device includes an elastomer portion and a filler. The elastomer portion contains a crosslinked fluorine-based elastomer. The filler is formed from a plurality of particles each of which has aspect ratio of 5 or more and specific surface area of 3 m.sup.2/g or more and 10 m.sup.2/g or less. The aspect ratio is defined as a ratio of a dimension in a long axis direction thereof to a dimension in a short axis direction thereof. The filler has an uneven distribution in a surface layer part of the elastomer portion and is oriented in a direction along a surface of the elastomer molded body.

Method of injection molding

A method for an injection molded product having a molten resin containing an aluminum pigment. The injection mold includes resin reservoirs connected to both sides of a cavity, positioned where the molten resin meets as it partly flows therein. The cavity has a design surface of an injection-molded product and both side surfaces continuing from the surface forming the design surface. One of the resin reservoirs is connected to one of the side surfaces and the other resin reservoir is connected to the other side surface, across the position where the molten resin meets. When the molten resin partly flows into the resin reservoirs, flow of the molten resin, which is substantially in parallel from the surface forming the design surface to the resin reservoirs, is generated and aluminum pigment makes an orientation angle of 120° to 140° on the design surface at the position where the molten resin meets.

In an injection molded product of the invention, an unevenness forming portion having unevenness formed by thermal expansion of thermally expandable capsules is formed. The injection molded product includes a highly expanded portion that is formed at a surface side of the unevenness forming portion in a thickness direction of the injection molded product and in which the thermally expandable capsules are thermally expanded, and a main body portion that is a portion adjacent to the highly expanded portion in the thickness direction and in which the thermally expandable capsules are substantially not thermally expanded. The thickness of the highly expanded portion is a half or smaller than the thickness of the injection molded product in the unevenness forming portion, and a polymer material of the highly expanded portion and a polymer material of the main body portion are the same polymer material.
