Load bearing panel member
A load bearing panel member having a first portion, a second portion, and an appearance surface portion is formed by injection molding such that the first portion includes a plurality of ribs forming a grid pattern on the first portion and another plurality of ribs extending toward the periphery of the first portion which may be non-orthogonal to each other and to the ribs forming the grid pattern. An internal channel may be formed within each of the non-orthogonal ribs by injecting a gas into the rib during the molding process forming the panel. An appearance surface portion attached to the first portion and second portion of the panel member forms an integral hinge between the first and second portions of the panel member. The panel member may be configured as a floor panel of a vehicle.
Collapsible household containers
Collapsible household containers having a foldable wall section with shape-retaining characteristics are disclosed. In particular, collapsible laundry baskets, buckets, colanders, dish drainers, and cups are provided. The folding region may include foldable tiers of a flexible material, each tier having at least one stable, relatively expanded position and at least one stable, relatively collapsed position; and an intervening, non-folding tier composed of a different, relatively rigid material.
CAP FOR CONTAINER
A cap for a container includes a main body having a top plate and a circular sidewall. Two opposite sides of the circular sidewall circularly connect to each other. One periphery of the circular sidewall connects to one surface of the top plate forming a closed end and the other periphery of the circular sidewall at the opposite side of the closed end forms an opened end. A ring member is located at the opened end of the main body. A first incision between the opened end of the main body and the ring member has a first end and a second end. The first end is separated from the second end. A second incision located on the main body or the ring member has a first end and a second end. The first end of the second incision is separated from the second end of the second incision
Image forming apparatus, molded resin product for use with the image forming apparatus, and cartridge
A molded resin product for use with an image forming apparatus includes: a base portion formed of a resin material; a positioning portion provided on the base portion; and a movable member formed by injection molding so as to be movable relative to the base portion. When the molded resin product is connected to a connection part, the positioning portion positions the molded resin product and the connection part relative to each other, and the movable member is contactable to a contact portion of the connection part.
MULTI-CAMERA VISION SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE
A multi-camera vision system for a vehicle includes a plurality of cameras viewing exterior the equipped vehicle and at least one non-visual sensor sensing exterior of the equipped vehicle. Captured image data and sensor data are provided to a central data processor. At the central data processor, image data is fused with sensor data and processed in order to detect vehicles that are present external the equipped vehicle. The central data processor includes a digital signal processor operable to process data at a data processioning speed of at least 30 MIPS. Via processing at the central data processor of image data and sensor data, a potential hazard present exterior the equipped vehicle is determined to exist. The potential hazard arises from presence of rear-approaching traffic in at least one of (i) a side lane to the equipped vehicle and (ii) a rear lane to the equipped vehicle.
Constrained Motion with Reformable Guide Member
An improved design and method is disclosed for constructing a sliding joint that constrains motion along or about one or more axes or directions and allows motion with low friction along or about a different axes or direction. The design simplifies the fabrication and assembly of sliding joints requiring accurate sliding alignment with minimal clearance between sliding members, such as milling machine bases, saddles, tables and columns. The design also enables driving means, such as those commonly found in machine tools using a leadscrew and nut, to be fabricated with essentially zero backlash at a very low cost. Finally, the design enables bearing surfaces to be reformed after they have worn without the need for disassembly of components. This allows for complete recovery of the original precisely guided configuration without the need to disassemble a machine. The simplicity and low cost of the method will be especially advantageous in the manufacture of machine tools intended for education and maker markets.
Container Comprising Treatment Means and Method for the Production of Same
A container is provided having a container body (2), which forms a receiving space (3) for goods to be packaged. The container body (2) has a side wall (4) and a container base (5) connected integrally to the side wall (2). The container body (2) also has an opening (6), wherein the container body (2) has a chamber (13), which is filled with a solid treatment substance (14). The chamber (13) is provided with a cover (15), which prevents the solid treatment substance (14) from leaving the chamber (13) and is moisture-permeable and/or gas-permeable. The container is characterized in that the container body (2) has a synthetic material injection-moulded part, which forms the container base (5) and the side wall (4). The invention also relates to a method for producing such a container.
Operating device, in particular for a vehicle component, and method for the production thereof
The operating device, in particular for a vehicle component, is provided with a rotary operating element (18), which can be rotated about a rotation axis (20) and is formed as a plastic injection-molded part, which is produced in a molding die (48) having a die separation plane (46), and with a bearing unit (12), on which the rotary operating element (18) is mounted such that it can rotate about the rotation axis (20). The bearing unit (12) has a first bearing element (14), which is formed as a plastic injection-molded part, which is produced in a molding die (28) having a die separation plane (34).
