Method for producing a clinical waste container by injection moulding with a cooled mould
12447660 · 2025-10-21 · ·

Clinical waste container (100) comprising a lower basket part (110) and an upper lid part (120), comprising a cylindrical part (121) having an upper lid opening (122); and a lid cap part (130), arranged to be fastened to said lid part so as to cover said lid opening, wherein the lid part and the lid cap part each comprise cooperating snap-lock means (123, 133), comprising several separated elongated protrusions (133a,133b), together defining a broken circle. The lid part comprises at a lower end (124) a bend (125) of at least 60, with an inner radius (R1) of at the most 5 mm and an outer radius (R2) of at the most 5 mm, defining a local material thickness increase of at least 25%. The lid part and the lid cap part comprise at least 30% by volume wooden fibres. The invention also relates to a method of manufacturing such a container.

Cross valve
12485216 · 2025-12-02 · ·

A two-component cross valve for controlling the fluid flow through a fluid conduit, the cross valve being injection-molded in two steps with no need for assembly after the injection molding procedure. The valve comprises a valve house with a plug inside it, and it has sealing means in the form of variations in the transverse sectional area of the plug and house along their lengths. Thereby, a cross valve is obtained which does not require a viscous sealant, such as silicone, to eliminate the risk of leakage, when the valve is open.

Co-molded 3D elements

Describes are support elements for a sole of a shoe, in particular a sports shoe, a sole and a shoe with such a support element, as well as a method for the manufacture of a support element. As examples, the support element includes a first partial member formed of a first material, and a second partial member formed of a second material. The first partial member is mechanically joined to the second partial member in a connection region, wherein the connection region is configured to allow the first partial member to rotate or slide relative to the second partial member. The first partial member, the second partial member, and the connection region can be co-molded and joined together in a single fabricating step.

Elongate articulated bending section body for an insertion endoscope
12605046 · 2026-04-21 · ·

A method for moulding an elongate articulated bending section body (4) for a medical device including a number of segments (7) interconnected via a number of hinge members (8). The method includes the use of a mould having a first number of sub-cavities where each of the sub-cavities has at least one external fluid inlet through which a liquified plastic material is injected into the mould. The sub-cavities are so distributed that each sub-cavity is separated from another sub-cavity by an odd number of sub-cavities without an external fluid inlet.
