COMPRESSIBLE STRESS AND STRAIN OF NON-FIBROUS ADJUNCTS
Stapling assemblies for use with a surgical stapler are provided. In one exemplary embodiment, the stapling assembly includes a cartridge having a plurality of staples disposed therein and a non-fibrous adjunct formed of at least one fused bioabsorbable polymer and configured to be releasably retained on the cartridge. Adjunct systems for use with a surgical stapler are also provided. Surgical end effectors using the stapling assemblies are also provided. Methods for manufacturing stapling assemblies and using the same are also provided.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING LIGHT EMITTING DEVICE
A light emitting device includes: a substrate; a light emitting element disposed on the substrate; a plate-shaped light transmissive member having a first face, a second face opposite to the first face and a lateral face between the first face and the second face, the plate-shaped light transmissive member disposed so that the second face faces a light emission face of the light emitting element; a light shielding frame having an inner perimeter face surrounding the lateral face; a first light reflecting member disposed between the lateral face and the inner perimeter face so as to expose the first face of the light transmissive member; and a second light reflecting member disposed between the first light reflecting member and the substrate to cover a side face of the light emitting element.
Method for producing plastic/metal hybrid components
A method produces plastic/metal hybrid components, in particular for the automotive field. A plastic compound is injected into a tool mold, and the tool mold has a core onto which a metal is injected. The plastic compound is then injected into the tool mold such that the metal is back-molded with the plastic compound and is fixed to the plastic in order to produce a blank. The tool mold is used to produce at least one depression in the surface of the blank, the depression being at least partly filled with a metal as part of a first additional processing.
MOLDING PROCESS FOR FORMING THERMOPLASTIC ARTICLES
Provided is a molding system for molding a thermoplastic article. The molding system comprises a first mold half and a second mold half. The first and second mold halves together define a plurality of molding cavities in a first closed position. The plurality of cavities serve to mold a corresponding plurality of article components in a first molding stage. Subsequent the first molding stage, the first mold half is displaceable relative to the second mold half to align the plurality of article components formed during the first molding stage. During a second molding stage, the first and second mold halves are closed to a second closed position, to engage and bond together the plurality of article components into a finished thermoplastic article.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING FLOORBOARD FOR QUICK SIDESLIP INSTALLATION
A production method of a floor for quick side-slide installation includes the following steps: step 1: sorting of floor blanks; step 2: curing of the floor blanks; step 3: sanding of the floor blanks; step 4: cutting-to-thickness of the floor blanks; step 5: surface treatment of the floor blanks; step 6: cutting-to-length and molding of the floor blanks; step 7: spraying of anti-cracking oil on the floor blanks; step 8: plastic encapsulation of the floor blanks; step 9: application of a paint to back surfaces of the floor blanks; and step 10: application of the paint or vegetable oil to the floor blanks. A locking frame is hidden under bosses of a floor blank after being injection-molded, which achieves high locking accuracy and firm assembly.
Plastic closure part with severable membrane
The invention concerns a plastic closure part (10) which can be fixed to a container or a further closure part to be fixed to the container, comprising a tubular discharge portion (3) whose cross-section is closed by a membrane (7) which has a tear line (8) extending peripherally over more than 180° along its outer edge and a corresponding method for the production of such a closure. In order to develop a closure part having the features set forth in the opening part of this specification and a method for the production thereof to the effect that the problems occurring upon injection moulding due to narrow flow passages are eliminated it is provided according to the invention that the tear line (8) is formed by a cut introduced into the material of the membrane (7) with a cutting or punching tool.
Method of manufacturing light emitting device
A method of manufacturing a light emitting device includes: mounting a light emitting element on a substrate; disposing a light shielding frame on a sheet, the light shielding frame having an opening; disposing a plate-shaped light transmissive member in the opening, the plate-shaped light transmissive member having a first face and a second face opposite the first face, wherein an outer perimeter of the first face is smaller than an inner perimeter of the opening; forming a light guide support member by filling the space with a first light reflecting member; bonding the light guide support member by bonding an upper face of the light emitting element and the second face of the light transmissive member; and forming a second light reflecting member surrounding the light emitting element by filling the space between the substrate and the light shielding frame with a second reflecting resin.
3D injection molding apparatus and injection molding method
Disclosed are a three dimensional injection molding apparatus and an injection molding method which are capable of manufacturing an injection molded product having patterns, colors, and textures which are high quality by injection molding after completely removing a gas included in a melted resin, and transferring a surface layer for expressing the patterns, colors, and textures to the injection molded product.
COLON LINEARIZING DEVICE, COLON LINEARIZING SYSTEM INCLUDING THE SAME AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE COLON LINEARIZING DEVICE
A colon linearizing device installed in an endoscope to linearize a colon by performing translation and expansion motions in the colon may include a ring-shaped proximal member installed to surround an outer circumferential surface of an insertion tube of an endoscope, a fixed end secured to the insertion tube, a ring-shaped distal member positioned between the proximal member and the fixed end and movably installed along a longitudinal direction of the insertion tube, and an elastic member connected between the fixed end and the distal member.
MEDICATION DISPENSER AND METHODS
A medication dispenser is described that comprises a main body having a medication reservoir, a delivery tube, and one or more steering arms. The medication dispenser also has a cap. The medicine dispenser further has a carousel with a top platform and a bottom platform. The top platform has a top face with a sealing platform and a side face. A bottom platform of the carousel has grips. Methods of administering a medication from the medicine dispenser and manufacturing the medication dispenser are also described.
