WIPER BLADE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING WIPER BLADE
A wiper blade extends in the longitudinal direction and includes blade rubber, a plate spring-like backing, and a rubber holder. The blade rubber wipes a surface to be wiped. The backing imparts rigidity and elasticity to the blade rubber. The rubber holder holds both the longitudinally intermediate section of the blade rubber and the longitudinally intermediate section of the backing. The rubber holder has a backing housing hole for housing and retaining the backing. The backing housing hole longitudinally extends through the rubber holder. A parting line is set at the longitudinal center of the backing housing hole.
Overmolding extruded profiles
An exemplary method of, for instance, forming a baffle or reinforcer includes extruding an expandable material to have a particular cross-sectional profile, inserting the expandable material into a molding tool, cutting the expandable material to a predetermined length within the molding tool, and overmolding a carrier material onto a portion of the expandable material within the molding tool.
Expanded Polymer Pellets
The invention refers to a method for producing expanded polymer pellets, which comprises the following steps: melting a polymer comprising a polyamide; adding at least one blowing agent; expanding the melt through at least one die for producing an expanded polymer; and pelletizing the expanded polymer. The invention further concerns polymer pellets produced with the method as well as their use, e.g. for the production of cushioning elements for sports apparel, such as for producing soles or parts of soles of sports shoes. A further aspect of the invention concerns a method for the manufacture of molded components, comprising loading pellets of an expanded polymer material into a mold, and connecting the pellets by providing heat energy, wherein the expanded polymer material of the pellets or beads comprises a chain extender. The molded components may be used in broad ranges of application.

Method for producing an interior unit for a motor vehicle, and interior unit for a motor vehicle
A method for production of an interior unit for a motor vehicle includes production of a support by injection molding, featuring an enclosed front side, wherein at a backside of the support a screw boss is formed whose drill hole is sealed by a support section in the direction of the front side of the support, which support section features a reduced wall thickness in comparison to the remainder of the support, and production of a foam layer on the enclosed front side of the support. Furthermore, the present disclosure relates to an interior unit for a motor vehicle.
Injection molded article
This injection molded article has a body part and a movable part. The body part has a first stopper part and a second stopper part, while the movable part has a movable body and a first rib and a second rib that are formed to protrude at both widthwise end parts of the movable body. A first groove and a second groove that extend in the depth direction perpendicular to the axial direction of a hinge part, are respectively formed between the movable body and the first rib and between the movable body and the second rib.
Method of providing a covering element and a covering element for covering a hinge part of a roof window
A method of providing a covering element with a connection element for covering a hinge part of a roof window comprising the steps of engraving an interior surface of the covering element to provide an engraved surface with at least one cavity by subjecting the covering element to a laser beam at a polar angle, α1, and attaching the connection element to the covering element by introducing an anchor portion of the connection element into the least one cavity.
INJECTION-MOLDED HOSE
Disclosed and described is a hose for attachment to a dispensing cartridge for placement in a peristaltic pump, for stretching over a rotor of the peristaltic pump, and for conveying a medium by external mechanical deformation of the hose. The hose has a length of preferably 20 mm to 200 mm, an internal cross-sectional area of 0.07 to 7.07 mm.sup.2, and a wall thickness of 0.3 mm to 2.2 mm. Thickenings are formed at both ends of the hose and the distance between the thickenings is 40 mm to 100 mm. According to the invention, it is provided that the hose is manufactured by an injection molding process, the inner cross-sectional area has a tolerance of at most ±33%, and the hose is suitable for closing completely when stretched over the rotor with a tension force of 1 to 10 N.

Flexible drive shaft assembly and methods
Illustrative methods of manufacturing flexible drive shaft assemblies for preparing bone can include steps such as providing, receiving or manufacturing a mold. Injecting a first polymeric material into the mold to form a coupling member, the coupling member adapted for attachment to a torque-providing driving tool. Injecting a second polymeric material into the mold to form a work member, the work member adapted to interface with the bone to prepare the bone. The method can further include injecting a third polymeric material into the mold in an overmolding process to form a flexible shaft extending from the coupling member to the work member. The assemblies resulting from such methods can include a flexible shaft that is adapted to transmit a majority of a torque received from a torque-providing driving tool through the flexible shaft. In some examples, the flexible shaft can include a solid polymeric shaft.
