Thermally vulcanisable, meltable adhesives and processes have a meltable polybutadiene-polyurethane, ground sulphur and optionally at least one vulcanisation accelerator, at least one filling material, at least one epoxide resin, at least one tackifier resin, bitumen, at least one softener and further auxiliary and additive materials, wherein said adhesives and processes can be thermally vulcanised within a temperature range of 130° C. to 230° C., such that same, as well as an adhesive strip produced from same, can be used for adhesion and/or sealing in the automotive industry, as well as in structural work on oiled sheet metal, and in the painting line on e-coated or otherwise painted sheet metal, for example, for crimp fold adhesion, for crimp fold sealing, for seam sealing, for lining adhesion, for hole closure and much more.

This invention relates to a multilayered patch, comprising: a first layer, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer comprising a mixture of: a styrene-based triblock copolymer, a styrene-based diblock copolymer, and at least one hydrocarbon resin selected from the group of aromatic modified aliphatic hydrocarbon resins, partially hydrogenated resins, and fully hydrogenated resins; wherein the first layer comprises a metal or a metal alloy, or wherein the first layer comprises a polymer and has a strain at break of at least 10%, the strain at break being measured according to ASTM D638 or ASTM D882. The multilayered patch exhibits favourable properties as sealing material for vehicle body holes against ingression of noise, moisture and/or dirt. The present invention is directed to a novel co-extruded multilayer structure that possess a draw down ratio superior than the critical draw-down ratio of each one of the polymeric layers, extruded individually. The present invention is also directed to a method for obtaining the co-extruded multilayer structure.

The co-extruded multilayer structure obtainable by the method described herein allows preparing films, filaments or spun-melt non-wovens of low weight at high speed using conventional extrusion equipments. The co-extruded multilayer structure is especially suitable as diaper back-sheets or flexible packaging coatings.

Wood-plastic coated metal composite profile and process for producing the same

The present disclosure relates to a wood-plastic coated metal composite profile and a production process, and belongs to the technical field of composite profiles. The wood-plastic coated metal composite profile includes a metal core material, a wood-plastic surface layer and an intermediate layer provided between the metal core material and the wood-plastic surface layer. The intermediate layer includes unsaturated carboxylic acid modified polyolefin and thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer, inorganic filler, polyurethane prepolymer. In the present disclosure, an intermediate layer is provided between the wood-plastic surface layer and the metal core material for bonding. The intermediate layer has excellent performance when bonding with the metal, and at the same time, it can blend with the wood-plastic surface layer to a certain extent during co-extrusion. Thereby, a stable structure with core material-intermediate layer-wood-plastic surface layer is formed, and the intermediate layer has good elasticity and impact resistance, and can maintain good bonding under various environments.
