A method, system and device for securing conductive material on catheter elements for tissue sensing and cryogenic ablation. This may be used to deposit or embed conductive material onto or within polymeric materials. The method of manufacturing a balloon with conductive material may include extruding a polymeric material where the polymeric material includes embedded electrically conductive material. At least a portion of the polymeric material may be removed to expose at least a portion of the embedded electrically conductive material. The benefits may include allowing local bipolar recordings, contact assessment and ice thickness, and compatibility with 3-dimensional electroanatomical mapping systems.

Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to multilayer structures. The multilayer structures may include a first layer and a barrier layer. The first layer may include, based on the total weight of the first layer, from 90 wt. % to 99.5 wt. % of an ethylene/alpha-olefin interpolymer having a density of from 0.945 g/cc to 0.970 g/cc and from 0.5 wt. % to 10 wt. % of a compatibilizer. The compatibilizer may include an anhydride and/or carboxylic acid functionalized ethylene/alpha-olefin elastomer having a density of from 0.850 g/cc to 0.910 g/cc and a melt viscosity of greater than 200,000 cP, when measured at 177 C.

Recycled pet barrier bottle

The invention relates to a preform for producing a plastic container in a blow moulding method, comprising an elongated, preform body, which is formed so as to be closed at the one longitudinal end thereof and, at the other longitudinal end thereof, has a neck section having a pouring opening. The preform is produced from recycled PET and aliphatic furanoate, wherein the recycled PET has a maximum of 2.5 wt % of isophthalic acid and diethylene glycol, wherein the proportion of isophthalic acid is no higher than 2.0 wt %, and the proportion of diethylene glycol is no higher than 2.0 wt %, wherein all the percentages by weight are based on the total weight of the preform. Turbidity of the preform, measured in accordance with ASTM D I 003-00, is less than 5%, as a result of the admixture of the aliphatic furanoate.

Thermoplastic resin composition, molded object, and production methods therefor

A thermoplastic resin composition, a molded body, and first and second production methods are disclosed. The thermoplastic resin composition contains a polyolefin resin, a polyamide resin, and a modified elastomer and shows non-Newtonian properties in a fluidized state. The molded body includes the thermoplastic resin composition. The first production method includes molding the thermoplastic resin composition at a shear rate of 80 sec.sup.−1 or more and a standby step in which resin composition is on standby at a shear rate of 0 sec.sup.−1 or more but less than 80 sec.sup.−1. The second production method includes molding the resin composition at a shear rate X.sub.1 to obtain part of a molded body and molding the resin composition at a shear rate X.sub.2 to obtain another part of the molded body, wherein an absolute value of a difference between X.sub.1 and X.sub.2 is 200 sec.sup.−1 or more.
