METHOD OF DELIVERING A LIQUID VOLUME AND ASSOCIATED APPARATUS

An apparatus for forming a container from a preform and delivering a predetermined volume of a liquid end product, formed by the addition of first and second liquid products, into the container. The apparatus includes a heating oven to heat the preform, a mold defining a cavity in the shape of the container, a stretch member coupled to an actuator to stretch the preform in the mold, an injection head configured to inject the second liquid product through the mouth of the preform so as to cause expansion of the preform within the mold thereby obtaining the container, and a preform filler to at least partially fill the preform with the first liquid prior to injecting of the second liquid product and before expanding of the preform into the container.

Liquid blow molding method

A liquid blow molding method molds a bottomed tubular-shaped preform into a liquid-containing container in which a content liquid is held. The liquid blow molding method includes: a filling step of filling a first liquid in a first pressurizing source and filling a second liquid in a second pressurizing source; and a molding step of liquid blow molding the preform by simultaneously supplying, to the preform, the first liquid pressurized to a predetermined pressure by the first pressurizing source and the second liquid pressurized to a predetermined pressure by the second pressurizing source by simultaneously operating the first pressurizing source and the second pressurizing source.

A method for producing a balloon from a suitable blank is provided. The blank is introduced into an outer mold heated an first expanded to expand it against the inner wall of the outer mold. Pressure is reduced to relax the blank away from the inner wall. The three-dimensional volume of the mold is changed. Second expanding of the blank expands again against the inner wall of the changed volume of the outer mold. Balloons of the invention consist of a middle cylindrical region and two end regions delimiting the middle cylindrical region. With a pressure application of 6 bar, a ratio of the cross section in the middle region to the cross section in the end region is at least 2, and preferably greater than 3.

Method of manufacturing foam molded article

A method of manufacturing a foam molded article is disclosed. The method includes the steps of extruding a molten, kneaded resin containing a foaming agent through an annular slit between a die core and a die shell, surrounding the die core to form a cylindrical foam parison, extruding the parison between a pair of split molds, pinching the parison between lower pinchers disposed under the split molds, and molding the parison by closing the split molds. H/D is 1.33 to 3.33 and L/D is 0.33 to 2.00, D being a die core diameter, H being a distance between a lower surface of the die core and an upper surface of each of the split molds, and L being a distance between a lower surface of each of the split molds and an upper surface of the corresponding lower pincher. The die core diameter is between 50 and 300 mm.
