Method for angular indexing of a preform
A process for angular indexing of a pre-form having a body and a neck. The process includes a step of marking the neck of the pre-form which consists of production of at least one reference point on the neck of the pre-form. The process also includes a step of a heating station taking charge of the pre-form, during which the pre-form is transported along a heating course by a support unit, known as a spinner, which makes it possible to turn the pre-form around its axis, and during which the body of the pre-form is heated. The marking step is carried out during the step of taking charge, when the pre-form, supported by a spinner, travels along the heating course.

Apparatus and method for producing a plastic bottle and for filling it with a filling product
Methods for manufacturing a plastic container and for filling it with a fill product are described. The methods include introducing a perform into a blow mold, pressuring the preform with a blowing medium, evacuating the interior space of the container to an underpressure, and introducing a fill product in the interior space at an overpressure.

MOLD FOR FORMING A HOLLOW BODY AND INFLATABLE BODY
A mould comprises a mould body (1) for forming therearound a body (60) with a body cavity which is accessible via an opening. The mould body is assembled from a set of mutually cohesive body parts (30,40). The body parts (30,40) are mutually releasable and removable from the body via the opening. An inflatable body (60) can be manufactured with the mould. The inflatable body (60) comprises a wall of elastomer material, which wall at least in an inflated state of the body bounds a body cavity accessible through a wall opening. The body is inflatable by filling the body cavity with a fluid.

Apparatus for molding handle-equipped container, and mold and mold unit for use in same
An apparatus for molding a handle-equipped container is provided. The apparatus has a gripping mechanism section 160a which comprises a first gripping member 161 having a pair of first chuck members 163 for grasping a preform 200, and a second gripping member 162 having a pair of second chuck members 167 for grasping a container handle 20 in association with the action of the first gripping member 161. The apparatus can simultaneously grasp a plurality of the preforms 200 and a plurality of the container handles 20 and reliably transport them to a blow molding section.

Blow-molding machine and method of sterilizing the same
To simply sterilize a blow-molding machine. A mist or gas of hydrogen peroxide or a mixture thereof is introduced through a valve block disposed adjacent to a molding die, thereby sterilizing at least the molding die and an extension rod that extends into the molding die through the valve block.
Lightweight container base
A container including an opening defined by a finish portion, and a base at an end of the container opposite to the opening. The base includes a standing ring extending inward from a heal to a center pushup portion. The center pushup portion includes an pushup ring surrounding an inversion portion. In an as-blown position the inversion portion extends outward and beyond the pushup ring such that the inversion portion is further from the opening than the pushup ring. In a final position the inversion portion is inverted relative to the as-blown position such that the inversion portion extends inward so as to be closer to the opening than the pushup ring. The inversion portion is mechanically moved from the as-blown position to the filled position with an inversion device after the container has been filled to reduce vacuum or increase pressure within the container.
