POLYMERIC COMPOSITION FOR WATERCRAFTS, ITS USE AND WATERCRAFT COMPRISING IT
The present invention relates to a polymeric composition suitable for watercrafts or nautical applications. The present invention relates also the use of a transparent polymeric composition for watercrafts. More particularly the present invention relates to a transparent (meth)acrylic polymer composition and relates also to a process for preparing such a (meth)acrylic polymer composition, its use in watercrafts and watercraft comprising it.
UV-CURABLE RESIN COMPOSITION FOR VACUUM FORMING AND REPLICA FILM OF REAL MATERIAL COMPRISING THE SAME
Disclosed are a UV-curable resin composition for vacuum forming and a replica film of a real material including the same. The UV-curable resin composition includes a prepolymer including a urethane-containing oligomer, an acrylate monomer and a photoinitiator.
Mineral-filled polymer articles and methods of forming same
Mineral-filled polymer compositions and methods of forming such polymer compositions into a thermally stable article are provided. Methods of forming a polymeric article include providing a polymer composition comprising a crystallizable polymer, a mineral filler in an amount of more than about 15 wt-% based on the total weight of the polymer composition, and an impact modifier, wherein the polymer composition is at a temperature less than a crystallization temperature of the crystallizable polymer. The methods further include disposing the polymer composition in a mold, forming the polymer composition into an article within the mold, and releasing the article from the mold. The methods can include thermoforming the polymer composition in a mold, or injection molding the polymer composition in a molten form in a mold.
CELLULOSE ACETATE COMPOSITION FOR THERMOFORMING, MOLDED ARTICLE, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING CELLULOSE ACETATE COMPOSITION FOR THERMOFORMING
An object of the present invention is to provide a cellulose acetate composition for thermoforming with excellent biodegradability and excellent thermoformability. A cellulose acetate composition for thermoforming containing a cellulose acetate and a glycerin ester-based plasticizer, wherein the cellulose acetate has a degree of acetyl substitution of 1.4 or greater and 2.0 or less, a compositional distribution index (CDI) of 4.0 or less, and a total sulfur content of 15 mg/kg or greater and less than 150 mg/kg:
DOUBLE-LAYER POLYESTER FILM AND LAMINATED METAL SHEET
A double-layer polyester film is of a structure having upper and lower layers. Each of the upper and lower layers comprises a copolyester and an additional resin, and is a uniform mixture of the copolyester and the additional resin. The copolyester comprises SiO.sub.2 having a mass fraction of 800-2000 ppm added by means of in-situ polymerization. The copolyester is a PET polyester modified by copolymerization of isophthalic acid, 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol, and neopentyl glycol. The polyester film has thinner thickness, good thermal adhesion with a metal sheet, excellent resistance to deep drawing and complex deformation processing, and excellent corrosion resistance, and can be widely used in metal packaging industry.
BIODEGRADABLE CONTAINER, METHOD FOR OBTAINING SAME AND USE THEREOF FOR CONTACT, TRANSPORT AND/OR STORAGE OF PERISHABLE PRODUCTS
The present invention relates to a biodegradable container comprising a thermoformable structural layer with tear resistance and low cost, and optionally an adhesive barrier layer, an adhesive active layer and/or a layer in direct contact with the product, all of which are based on biodegradable polymers. Furthermore, the present invention relates to the method for obtaining same and to use thereof for contact, transport and/or storage of perishable products.
