A method for making an acoustic component includes a plurality of hollow complex acoustic elements, the method including heating a film of thermoplastic material to a first temperature above the glass transition temperature of the film; shaping the heated film of thermoplastic material in a tool including a mould which has a plurality of mould cavities having a shape corresponding to the shape of the complex acoustic elements of the acoustic component to be made, the heated film of thermoplastic material being shaped locally in each of the mould cavities, at least the mould being kept at a second temperature above the glass transition temperature of the thermoplastic material; cooling the mould; and removing a complex acoustic multi-element panel including a plurality of hollow complex acoustic elements from the mould.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MAKING AN OUTER SKELETON OF A CONTAINER
Method and apparatus for making an outer skeleton for a container are provided. The outer skeleton includes bottom wall and a lateral wall The lateral wall has at least one pair of superposed panels between which a heat-activatable glue is present. The method includes inserting a pressing element inside the outer skeleton, wherein the pressing element is configured to expand and press on the superposed panels and cause activation of the heat-activatable glue and adhesive coupling between the pair of panels thanks to the heat supplied by the pressing element or by a supporting element coupled to it. The apparatus includes the pressing element and the supporting element configured to operate in this way.

In a burr portion shaping step, the burr portion is sucked to an engaging portion by a suction part to shape the burr portion along the engaging portion, and in a cutting step, ae movable portion is moved relative to first and second split molds with the burr portion being shaped along the engaging portion, thereby the burr portion is cut from a molded main body along a cutting line.

A material processing method and a molding machine therefor are described. The molding machine comprises a pressing module, a heating module, and an air supplying module. The method comprises: placing material to be processed within a material molding space of the molding machine, and supplying air to an air passage provided in the material by the air supplying module; heating the material by the heating module according to a preset heating parameter; and pressing the material by the pressing module according to a preset pressing parameter.
