Method for making an enclosure
An enclosure for housing electrical equipment is disclosed. The enclosure is produced by thermoforming four separate pieces or bodies together to form the top and bottom of the enclosure. The enclosure is made of a moldable material, such as plastic or fiberglass.
THERMAL MOLDING SHEET AND MOLDED ARTICLE
The present invention provides a thermal molding sheet having a thickness of 1 mm or more and formed by a polypropylene resin composition comprising: 5 to 97 wt % of a polypropylene resin (A) whose MFR and melt tension satisfy specific conditions and which has a long-chain branch structure; 1 to 93 wt % of a polypropylene resin (B) whose MFR satisfies specific conditions; 1 to 40 wt % of a thermoplastic elastomer (C); and 1 to 40 wt % of a filler (D).
CORROSION PROTECTION ARRANGEMENT
The invention relates to a corrosion protection arrangement comprising an adhesive layer (11). The adhesive layer (11) contains at least one volatile corrosion inhibitor (12). The adhesive layer (11) sticks to a surface (23). The adhesive layer (11) bonds an outer layer (13) to the surface (23). The outer layer (13) has a multitude of orifices (14) for release of the volatile corrosion inhibitor (12). The outer layer (13) has protuberances (15) which project out of a plane (16) of the outer layer (13) by a height (17).
Advanced Orthodontic Retainer
An advanced thermoplastic orthodontic retainer is disclosed. The prior art includes a clear piece of thermoplastic material of uniform thickness which is then heated to a soft state and adapted to a stone model of a patient's teeth. The present invention incorporates a gradient of thickness of the plastic running from one end to the other. This gradient will exist in the final retainer, and it will take into account the normal pattern of opening and closing of the jaw during which the posterior segment is open less than the anterior segment when the teeth are close to contacting. The present invention retains the ease of fabrication, low cost, and aesthetics of the currently prescribed removable appliance while improving the durability and functionality. Dentists and orthodontists can use the present invention to prevent the unwanted side effects of the prior art including but not limited to posterior open-bites.
Multilayered composite material using nanofibrillated cellulose and thermoplastic matrix polymer
The present invention relates to a multi-layered composite material manufactured by thermocompressing a multi-layered sheet, comprising: a first sheet layer formed from a solution containing nanofibrillated cellulose and a first thermoplastic matrix polymer; and a second sheet layer formed from a solution containing a second thermoplastic matrix polymer. The multi-layered composite material of the present invention has the high strength and high elastic modulus.
Resin composition, multilayer sheet, packaging material and container
A resin composition includes an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (EVOH) (A) having an ethylene content of 20 to 50 mol %, an EVOH (B) having an ethylene content of 30 to 60 mol %, and a saturated carbonyl compound (C) having 3 to 8 carbon. The saturated carbonyl compound (C) is a saturated aldehyde, a saturated ketone, or a combination thereof. A value obtained by subtracting the ethylene content of the EVOH (A) from the ethylene content of the EVOH (B) is 8 mol % or greater. The mass ratio (A/B) of the EVOH (A) to the EVOH (B) is 60/40 to 95/5. The content of the saturated carbonyl compound (C) with respect to the resin content is 0.01 ppm or greater and less than 100 ppm.

MOLDED THREE-DIMENSIONAL END CONE INSULATOR
A molded three-dimensional insulator that is suitable for use in an end cone region of a pollution control device and a method of making the insulator are described. The insulator includes ceramic fibers that have a bulk shrinkage no greater than 10 weight percent. The ceramic fibers can contain alumina and silica and can be microcrystalline, crystalline, or a combination thereof.
VESSEL FOR PERFORMING ELECTROCHEMICAL MEASUREMENTS AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SUCH VESSEL
A vessel for performing electrochemical measurements includes a well for receiving a solution. The well has an upper portion, a bottom portion and a side wall portion extending between the upper portion and the bottom portion. The upper portion, the bottom portion and the side wall portion are integrally formed and the well includes an electrode located at least partially on the side wall portion. A method for manufacturing the vessel includes providing a substantially flat substrate; printing the electrode on a surface of the substrate; and thermoforming the substrate with the printed electrode in a mold such that the electrode is located at least partially on the side wall portion.
Manhole base liner and method for manufacturing a manhole base liner
A manhole base liner (1), in particular for a wastewater manhole, has a base body (2) which comprises a tread surface (3) and at least one pipe connection opening (5). The base body (2) is produced in one piece from flexible material with a wall thickness, with which it can be bent together substantially arbitrarily in at least partial regions.
