METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A CELLULOSE PRODUCT, CELLULOSE PRODUCT FORMING APPARATUS AND CELLULOSE PRODUCT
A method for manufacturing a cellulose product, comprising the steps: dry forming a cellulose blank in a dry forming unit; arranging the cellulose blank in a forming mould; heating the cellulose blank to a forming temperature in the range of 100° C. to 200° C.; and pressing the cellulose blank in the forming mould with a forming pressure of at least 1 MPa.
COMBINED THERMOFORMING AND ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING DEVICE
A single-station additive manufacturing and thermoforming machine includes a heated bed forming a perforated print surface, a print head pivotable between a stowed position and a range of printing locations relative to the heated bed, and a thermoforming subassembly. The thermoforming subassembly is vertically movable relative to the heated bed to position a thermoforming sheet at a raised location to be heated to a plastic state, and a lowered position for vacuum forming over one or more printed parts upon the heated bed. The disclosure provides a fluid process between additive manufacturing and thermoforming where no interaction is needed from an operator in between additive manufacturing process stopping and thermoforming starting. The device can be easily increased in size to allow for larger parts to be manufactured and formed, while also providing a print bed that allows for air topass through for vacuum thermoforming, while also being heated.
CONTAINER WITH PRODUCT VISUALIZATION APERTURE
The present invention relates to a method for providing a product viewing window in a container. The container has at least a body ply and a liner ply, wherein the body ply has at least one aperture therethrough. The liner ply is adhered to the inner surface of the body ply and has a portion extending across the aperture, forming a window into the container. The method involves providing a window-finishing machine that comprises at least two platens and, optionally, a machine pocket positioned between them, a heating element extending through at least one of the platens, and a pressurized air device that is adapted to release pressurized air into the container through at least one of the platens. The container is engaged between the platens in an airtight manner and, optionally, the container window is positioned adjacent the inside wall of the machine pocket. The heating element heats the window of the container to the desired temperature, pressurized air is injected into the container such that the window is forced at least partially through the aperture of the container (and optionally into contact with the machine pocket wall), and the container window is then cooled to the desired temperature.

Device and method for stretching and/or shaping and/or applying a lamination of a film element, and laminating station and apparatus for laminating a component
The aim of the invention is to further develop conventional devices for stretching and/or shaping and/or applying a lamination of a film element. This aim is achieved, according to the invention, by a device for stretching and/or shaping and/or applying a lamination of a film element, which device comprises a support frame for gripping the film element relative to a shaping tool or to a component to be laminated, and having grippers for gripping the film element, which are mounted so as to be movable relative to the support frame, said device being characterized in that grippers are arranged in a multi-axially adjustable manner relative to the support frame in order to adapt the film element more precisely to a contour of the shaping tool or of the component to be laminated.
STACKED WORKPIECE
A stacked workpiece in which a sheet material can be more firmly attached to a workpiece body than in the related art is provided.
A stacked workpiece (40) includes a workpiece body (42), and a sheet material (44) stacked on the workpiece body (42). In the workpiece body (42), a workpiece-side protruding portion (42a) that is placed at least in a part of a peripheral portion of the stacked sheet material (44) and that protrudes toward a side of the sheet material (44) is provided, and a thinly-crushed compression portion (44a) is formed in a portion of the sheet material (44) stacked on the workpiece-side protruding portion (42a).
Pouch Type Battery Case, Apparatus for Molding the Same, and Pouch Type Secondary Battery
Provided is a pouch type battery case. The pouch type battery case include a cup part configured to accommodate an electrode assembly, which is formed by stacking electrodes and separators, therein and a plurality of die edges configured to connect an outer wall of the cup part to a side extending from the outer wall. At least one die edge includes a first area formed to be rounded with a first curvature radius and a second area formed to be rounded with a second curvature radius less than the first curvature radius.
METHOD AND FORMING TOOL FOR HOT-FORMING A FLAT THERMOPLASTIC LAMINATE
A flat laminate element made of thermoplastic is hot-formed in a two-stage method. In a first stage, the flat laminate which includes film(s) and/or panels(n) is placed on a flat frame-shaped pallet and is heated to a forming temperature in a heating zone between two flat heat screens in a contactless manner. The edge zone of the hot flat laminate element lies on the pallet such that the laminate piece cannot be clamped in a first laminate direction but rather can be slide on the pallet in this direction. Two non-flat rigid contours which are identical or largely identical act on two opposing parallel laminate edge sections uniaxially and perpendicularly to the laminate plane and only in the first laminate direction, i.e. monodirectionally, and shape the entire heated laminate element into a monodirectionally molded blank.
Method and device for producing a 3-D substrate coated with a laminate
A forming tool is used, which has a tool trough arranged in a stationary manner and a pressure bell, which can be lowered onto and lifted away from the tool trough. An arrangement is created in which a single- or multi-layer, initially flat, flexible laminate separates the trough interior from the pressure-bell interior in a pressure tight manner. A table, on which the 3-D substrate to be coated is located, assumes a lowered position within the trough interior; there is a considerable, free intermediate space (between the laminate and the 3-D substrate. A radiant-heater assembly is inserted into said intermediate space. The radiant-heater assembly has a carrier, on the top side of which radiant heaters that can be activated are attached and on the bottom side of which radiant heaters that can be activated are attached.
