Thermoplastic sheet heating appliance
An apparatus for heating of thermally deformable sheet material includes a frame consisting of a pair of end beams extending laterally and a pair of side rails secured longitudinally between the end beams in a rectangular arrangement The side rail channels are oriented with their longitudinal openings extending upwardly. A heating tray assembly extends laterally and includes a pair of quick-release cam clamps disposed at opposed ends thereof to engage the respective side rail in a slidable, releasable fashion, so that the tray may be installed/removed at any location and clamped at that location. A sheet support assembly includes similar cam clamps at each end, and may be installed/removed at any location and translated/clamped at that location to maintain planar support of a workpiece.
Methods of manufacturing and inspecting customized dental appliances
A method includes obtaining image(s) of a dental device, determining file(s) including at least one of a first model of the dental device or a second model of a mold, determining an intended property for the dental device based on at least one of the first model or the second model, and determining an actual property of the dental device from the image(s). The method further includes determining whether a cutline variation, an arch variation, and/or a bend of the dental device is detected between the dental device and the first model and/or the second model by comparing the intended property with the actual property. The method further includes determining whether there is a possible defect in the dental device based on whether the cutline variation exceeds a cutline variation threshold, the arch variation exceeds an arch variation threshold, and/or the bend exceeds a bend threshold.
Undergarment receiving a thin intermediate bonding layer between two textiles prior to thermoforming
A process for manufacturing an undergarment having two superimposed textiles, comprising depositing on certain parts of reinforcements (8) comprising a thick layer of a shaped memory foam elastic material, the polymerization of this material and also the shaping of the textiles of the undergarment by thermoforming, characterized in that it comprises a step of depositing, on the entire surface of at least the textiles, a thin layer of an elastic adhesive-bonding material, and then a step of polymerizing this thin layer of adhesive bonding during the thermoforming for shaping, and in that it comprises a step of prior depositing, on the textile receiving the layer of reinforcement (8), of a barrier layer of an elastic material, which is polymerized before the depositing of this reinforcement.
Bluetooth Earphones Case and Production Process Thereof
The present invention relates to the technical field of Bluetooth earphones, and discloses a Bluetooth earphones case and the production process thereof, comprising a protective case body which consists of an upper cover and a lower cover, wherein the upper cover and the lower cover match, a connecting strap is arranged between the upper cover and the lower cover, the lower cover is made with a charging port at the bottom, arranged with a snap at the top of the front, and made with a placement slot inside, and the outside of the protective case body has anti-slip lines. The present invention solves the problems that the Bluetooth earphones cases in the prior art are inconvenient to use and prone to damage, so it is worthy of popularization and use.

Implementations describe systems and methods for manufacturing and performing quality assessment of dental appliances. In one embodiment, a method of manufacturing a dental appliance comprises receiving, at a holder, a feature of the dental appliance, the feature comprising a first surface having a first shape, wherein the holder holds the feature of the dental appliance at a reference position. The method further includes automatically placing an object against the feature at the reference position using a robot arm, wherein the object comprises a second surface having a second shape that mates with the first shape. The method further includes applying pressure to press the object against the feature of the dental appliance and bonding the object to the feature of the dental appliance while applying the pressure.
Carrier with localized fibrous insert and methods
A structural reinforcement for an article including a carrier that includes: (i) a mass of polymeric material having an outer surface; and (is) at least one consolidated fibrous insert having an outer surface and including at least one elongated fiber arrangement having a plurality of ordered fibers arranged in a predetermined manner. The fibrous insert is envisioned to adjoin the mass of the polymeric material in a predetermined location for carrying a predetermined load that is subjected upon the predetermined location (thereby effectively providing localized reinforcement to that predetermined location). The fibrous insert and the mass of polymeric material are of compatible materials, structures or both, for allowing the fibrous insert to be at least partially joined to the mass of the polymeric material. Disposed upon at least a portion of the carrier will be a mass of activatable material.
Cup and method for the manufacturing of a cup
A cup having a cup opening surrounded by a rim, a bottom opposite the cup opening, a longitudinal axis extending from the cup opening to the bottom, an upper portion disposed closer to the rim than to the bottom and having an outer surface and an inner surface, the upper portion either having a constant diameter or the upper portion being frustoconical and tapering from an upper diameter to a lower diameter, an intermediate portion disposed between the upper portion and the base, the intermediate portion having an outer surface and an inner surface, the intermediate portion either having a constant diameter or the intermediate portion being frustoconical and tapering from an upper diameter to a lower diameter, each diameter of the upper portion being greater than each diameter of the intermediate portion, wherein a sequence of characters is provided on the outer surface of the upper portion projecting above other portions of the outer surface.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FORMING OF 3D PLASTIC PARTS
Systems and methods for forming 3D plastic parts that are cost effective in low volume, have excellent fit and finish, and use many components from 2D construction are disclosed. The systems and methods involve selecting a design and modelling the design. The design comprises 2D and 3D components of plastic parts. A 3D forming buck corresponding to the 3D component is manufactured. At least one of a 2D part and the 3D forming buck may be heated. The 2D part may be loaded onto the 3D forming buck for a predefined period of time. The 3D part formed after the loading may be separated from the 3D forming buck. The 3D part is the 2D part generally having taken the shape of the 3D forming buck. The 3D part may be cooled to obtain an end product.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A HOLLOW PROFILE COMPONENT, MOLD TOOL AND HOLLOW PROFILE COMPONENT
A method for producing a channel-shaped hollow profile component from a nonwoven material includes providing first and second nonwoven material layers arranging the first and second nonwoven material layers in a mold tool having first and second mold tool halves and a core body wherein a formation of the first and second nonwoven material layers and the core body is arranged between the first and second mold tool halves, and wherein the core body is arranged between the first and second nonwoven material layers in the formation, and simultaneously forming the first and second nonwoven material layers in the mold tool to form a first nonwoven partial shell and a second nonwoven partial shell.
Formed sheet membrane element and filtration system
A piece of substrate material is formed under heat and pressure against a cavity into a shaped substrate sheet having one or more depressions. Two substrate sheets are bonded together to form a substrate wherein the one or more depressions form one or more interior channels. The substrate, if not formed with pre-coated substrate material, is coated with a dope and quenched to form a filtering membrane. A plurality of membranes may be placed side by side to form a bundle with permeating ends of the membrane, which are open to the one or more interior channels, separated by gaps or spacers. The bundle is connected to a header to produce a module. The module can be assembled into a cassette.
