DEVICE AND METHOD FOR SURFACE SMOOTHING ADDITIVELY MANUFACTURED SHAPED PARTS CONSISTING OF PLASTIC
A method is provided for surface smoothing an additively manufactured shaped part consisting of plastic. The method has an explosion step with which the surface of the shaped part is smoothed in a process chamber by igniting a combustible process gas introduced into the process chamber, the surface of the shaped part being partly dissolved in at least some sections by the ignited process gas. Also provided is a device for surface smoothing additively manufactured shaped parts consisting of plastic.
COMPOSITE PRE-BONDING TREATMENT METHOD
An object is to provide a composite pre-bonding treatment method that stabilizes quality of a bonded part. The present disclosure provides a composite pre-bonding treatment method performed when bonding a composite material to a member. The method includes: (S2) attaching an absorber adapted to absorb a contaminant to a surface of a prepreg laminate that is a precursor of the composite material; (S3) covering the prepreg laminate with a packaging material from above the absorber; (S4) vacuuming the packaging material and heating the prepreg laminate at a temperature lower than a curing temperature of a prepreg; (S5) then removing the packaging material; (S6) peeling off the absorber; (S7) attaching, to a surface of the prepreg laminate with the absorber peeled off, a release member that does not transfer silicone or fluorine to a resin, and then (S9) curing the prepreg laminate to mold the composite material; and (S11) peeling off the release member from the composite material before bonding the member.
Oriented polypropylene film with improved blocking resistance
The present disclosure is directed to a film formulation that resulted in a substantially non-migratory cold seal release film with improved blocking resistance. Specifically, the multilayered biaxially oriented polypropylene film can include a core layer of polypropylene homopolymer; a first outer layer on one side of the core layer that can be suitable for sealing, printing, or coating; and a second outer layer on the opposite side of the core layer that is a blocking resistant layer comprising thermoplastic polymers which reduce blocking tendency.
BONED MULTILAYER ARTICLE
A bonded multilayer article including: (a) at least one first layer of a silicone-containing rubber substrate material bonded to (b) at least one second layer of a substrate material bondable to the first layer; wherein at least a portion of the surface of the first layer is activated for adhesion to increase the bond strength of the first layer to a second layer such that the bond strength of the first layer bonded to the second layer is increased; and a process for producing the above bonded multilayer article.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A HELICAL CASTING PATTERN
A method for producing a helical casting pattern. The method including: providing a pattern body having a longitudinal axis, a cavity extending in the direction of the longitudinal axis, and a pattern body wall that surrounds the cavity; providing a processing tool for creating a recess; arranging the pattern body and the processing tool such that the processing tool extends at least partially through the pattern body wall in the radial direction with respect to the longitudinal axis; and rotatably driving at least one of the processing tool and the pattern body about one of the longitudinal axis of the pattern body and an axis parallel thereto, relative to one another, with a relative movement between the pattern body and the processing tool in a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis being produced one of continuously or at least intermittently during or in alternation with the relative rotational movement.
