Sleeve applicator system and method
The present invention is related to a sleeve applicator system for applying a heat-shrinkable sleeve to an object that moves in a first direction. The present invention further relates to a corresponding method. According to the invention, a second mandrel is mounted in a flexible manner to a first mandrel. A second drive system is used for moving the heat-shrinkable sleeve from the first mandrel over the second mandrel towards the object. The second drive system is further configured to push the second mandrel such that the second mandrel moves along with the moving object during the application of the sleeve.
Tape application device for helical application of a tape on a tube
A tape application device (1) comprises a tube holder (9), a roll retainer (11), guide means (35) for guiding a tape (3) from the inside (7a) of a roll (7) to the outside of a tube (5) and displacement means for rotating around an imaginary axis and translating in the direction of the imaginary axis the tube holder, roll retainer and guide means relative to each other, such that the tape is pulled out of the roll on the inside and is helically wound on the outside of the tube. The roll retainer (11) has support means (26) which support the roll only on the outside, which support means are formed by suction cups (27). The guide means (35) are formed by a resilient helical tape guide (37) which, during operation, resiliently pushes with one end (37a) against the inside (7a) of the roll (7) and with the other end (7b) is present close to the tube (5).
Screen protector applicator
Disclosed herein is a screen protector assembly and a screen protector applicator comprising a screen protector assembly and an applicator tray, the screen protector assembly comprising a cover layer, a screen protector layer and a retention layer, wherein: the cover layer is bonded on a first side of the screen protector layer by a first glue layer provided on the screen protector layer; the retention layer is bonded on a second side of the screen protector by a second glue layer provided on the retention layer; and an interlayer is provided between the retention layer and the screen protector layer. The screen protector applicator has a simple structure, and can store and protect the screen protector assembly before application of the screen protector layer to the screen. In the process of screen protector application, the operation method is simple and convenient.
MOBILE PHONE SCREEN PROTECTIVE FILM HAVING DUST REMOVAL FUNCTION AND FILM PASTING AUXILIARY DEVICE
A mobile phone screen protective film having dust removal function and a film pasting auxiliary device are provided. An electrostatic protective film is disposed on an upper side of a mobile phone film body. A pulling film is disposed on an upper side of the electrostatic protective film. A connecting structure is disposed at front ends of the electrostatic protective film and the pulling film. An opening is defined on a main housing of the film pasting auxiliary device. A positioning frame is distributed in the main housing. A film body placing groove is extended out from the positioning frame in a direction of the opening. A positioning avoiding groove is defined on a first side of the positioning frame. A pulling opening is defined on a second side of the positioning frame. A positioning connecting mechanism is disposed between the main housing and the mobile phone film body.
Electrofusion of Pipe Liners
A method of joining together liner sections within a polymer-lined pipe energises an induction coil inside the pipe to spot-heat part of a circumferential interface between the liner sections. This melts and fuses the polymer material locally. The induction coil is then moved along the interface to heat other parts of the interface successively above the melting temperature. An apparatus for performing the method has a power supply for energising the induction coil and a drive system for moving the energised induction coil relative to a body of the apparatus. The apparatus may be configured as a carriage that is movable along the pipe.
Pipe with an outer wrap
This disclosure relates generally to corrugated pipe, and more particularly to corrugated pipe with an outer wrap. In one embodiment, a pipe includes an axially extended bore defined by a corrugated outer wall having axially adjacent, outwardly-extending corrugation crests, separated by corrugation valleys. The pipe also includes an outer wrap applied to the outer wall. The outer wrap may include fibers and plastic. The outer wrap may span the corrugation crests producing a smooth outer surface.
DEVICE FOR PREPARING LINER
A device for preparing a liner to be installed in a pipe. the device comprising a top part having rollers extending between top sides and having a top belt arranged on rollers. The device further comprises a bottom part having rollers extending between bottom sides and having a bottom belt arranged on the bottom rollers. One of the bottom rollers is a pulley roller driving the bottom belt when rotated. At least one roller of the top rollers is movably attached to the top sides, and at least one roller of the bottom rollers is movably attached to the bottom sides.
APPARATUS FOR INSTALLING A SCREEN PROTECTOR ON AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An apparatus for assisting in affixing a screen protector to a display of an electronic device. The apparatus includes a base having a platform for supporting the electronic device, a lid attached to the base, and a positioning mechanism for aligning the electronic device on the platform. The positioning mechanism includes a first positioning jaw movable between a first and a second position. The positioning jaw includes a first surface configured to contact the first corner of the electronic device and a second surface configured to contact the second corner of the electronic device when the first positioning jaw moves from the first position to the second position. Moving the lid from a first position to a second position at least partially covering the electronic device moves the first positioning jaw from the first position to the second position.
SCREEN PROTECTOR APPLICATOR AND METHOD
An apparatus to aid in applying a screen protector to the display of a mobile electronic device such as a smartphone. The apparatus in some embodiments is a wedge or ramp that is placed between the display and the screen protector to support a portion of the screen protector above the display. The user may withdraw or move the wedge or ramp and tip the screen protector onto the display. The wedge or ramp may have a plurality of profiles or surfaces on which the screen protector rides as the wedge is moved, the profiles or slope of the surface aiding in controlling the rate at which the screen protector descends onto the display. The apparatus may also include a frame to go about the perimeter of the mobile device to aid in positioning the screen protector.
