Adhesion-regulating agents for enhancing the adhesion values of acrylic adhesives, and methods of using adhesion-regulating agents for treating substrates for enhancing adhesion of the substrate to objects comprising an acrylic adhesive are disclosed.

Devices, methods and systems disclosed herein relate to the application of a protective film on a surface of an electronic device that instantly reduces air bubbles and eliminates the waiting time usually required when using a wet fluid solution. In one embodiment, a roller device may include a carriage or housing and one or more rollers coupled or integrated with the housing, configured to apply a protective material to a surface of the electronic device in a first orientation, and configured to function as a device stand in a second orientation. In addition or alternatively, a roller guide apparatus and/or a wedge may be utilized to assist the roller device in applying the protective material to the surface of the electronic device.

A method of manufacturing a curved display device is disclosed. In one aspect, the method includes providing a frame, providing a flexible display panel and attaching a first area of the flexible display panel to the frame. The method also includes attaching a second area of the flexible display panel to the frame, wherein the providing of the flexible display panel comprises attaching a release paper to a surface of the flexible display panel, the release paper comprising first and second release areas respectively corresponding to the first and second areas of the flexible display panel. The method further includes removing the first release area from the flexible display panel before attaching the first area and removing the second release area from the flexible display panel before attaching the second area.

A tool for applying tint film to the rear window of an automobile has a unitary body with a concave top side and a convex bottom side, and the unitary body including a first elongate wing with front and rear edges extending to a first distal end, and an opposite second elongate wing with front and rear edges extending to a second distal end, and a central portion between the first and second elongate wings. The unitary body includes a skeletal frame member and flexible blades fitted to the skeletal frame member and extending about a periphery of the first and second elongate wings to define the front and rear edges and distal ends. The skeletal frame maintains desired curvature and prevents excessive flexing and bending of the elongate wings. The first and second wings have different degrees of curvature measured transversely between the respective front and rear edges.

Methods of applying a paint film on a substrate may include adhering a corner patch on at least a portion of a corner of the substrate and adhering a paint film sheet on the substrate such that the corner is within a corner relief pattern of the paint film sheet. The corner relief pattern may correspond to a recess along an edge of the paint film sheet. The paint film sheet may partially overlap with and bond with the corner patch, thereby providing a continuous paint film over at least the corner of the substrate. The method also includes extrusion welding the pair of sheets to a bottom sheet by infusing the molten thermoplastic material along and between the pair of sheets and the bottom sheet.
