A device for installing a screen protector to an electronic device that includes a screen protector unit having a release film, a screen protector, and a protection film wherein the release film has a release tab, the protection film has at least one protection tab where the protection tab includes a hole formed therein; a tray having a panel, at least one alignment protrusion that fits the hole, a guide hole to allow external pressure to be applied onto the screen protector unit when the screen protector unit and the electronic device are received in the tray; and an adhesive strip, via the guide hole, further secures the screen protector unit to the tray. Also included is a method to using the device to install the screen protector to the screen of the electronic device.

The present technology provides a device for applying films to displays or other surfaces of apparatuses such as phones and tablets, for example. The device includes a frame and a multi-layer pad including an adhesive film. The pad is coupled with the frame along an edge. The frame can be clamped or otherwise coupled with the apparatus. When properly coupled, the frame and the apparatus register with a certain tolerance and the film registers easily with the apparatus when taut and laid down beginning distal of the edge that is coupled with the frame while the film close to the edge remains slightly elevated from the apparatus to facilitate the application process. The whole film can then be pasted onto the apparatus using a suitable spatula, for example. The device allows for reliable registration between adhesive film and apparatus and reduces inclusion and bubble formation during application.

Disclosed herein are a screen protector assembly, a screen protector applying assembly and a screen protector applicator. The screen protector assembly comprises a screen protector layer, a retention layer and a first matching member. The retention layer is bonded to the screen protector layer. The first matching member is fixedly connected to the retention layer, and the first matching member is used to be detachably connected to a protector applying assembly. With the above arrangement, a detachable connection between the retention layer of the screen protector assembly and the protector applying assembly is realized, allowing the retention layer to be detached from the protector applying assembly after a protector is applied to a screen, thereby allowing the protector applying assembly to be reused, and saving costs.

An apparatus to apply a foam seal to a part is provided. The apparatus comprises a receiving device to secure the part, a loading device and a driving device to drive the loading device. The receiving device includes a housing, a first rod coupled to the housing and at least partially disposed in the housing and a resilient member connected between the housing and the first rod at a radial direction. The loading device includes an actuating member and a holding member to hold the foam seal. The driving device is configured to move the loading device between a loading position and an application position and further drive the actuating member and the holding member to rotate around an axis parallel to the first rod. The actuation member contacts the housing while rotating and the foam seal on the holding member contacts the part at the application position.

A method for producing a stretched film including the steps of: stretching a long-length multilayer film (D) including a pre-stretch film (A) formed of a thermoplastic resin, a shrinkable film (B) having a shrinkage ratio in a lengthwise direction of the film under conditions of 140? C. and 60 seconds in the air of 10% or more and 40% or less, a shrinkage ratio in the widthwise direction thereof of 5% or less, and an adhesion layer (C) bonding the pre-stretch film (A) to the shrinkable film (B), at a stretching ratio of less than 1.5 times in a direction of 45??15? with respect to the widthwise direction of the multilayer film (D), and peeling the shrinkable film (B) and the adhesion layer (C).

A film-applying device and method for 3D glass with two opposite curved edges. The film-applying device comprises: an upper base for fixing a film; a lower base for fixing the 3D glass; a roller structure for rotating a rotary cylinder of the upper base; and a lifting cylinder for moving the upper base, the rotary cylinder, and the roller structure up and down and making the roller structure apply a pressure to press-fit the 3D glass and the film. The roller structure comprises a lower roller and an upper press roller; the rotary cylinder is used for rotating the upper base to change or fix the relative position of the upper base and the roller structure. The device has a simplified structure. The device and method are suitable for applying a film to 3D glass with two opposite curved edges due to convenient operations, high film-applying precision and efficiency.

An apparatus and method of manufacture for a repair patch may include a fabric layer, a primer layer applied to the fabric layer, an adhesive layer applied to the primer layer, and a release liner applied to the adhesive layer.

A method of manufacturing a curved display device is disclosed. In one aspect, the method includes providing a frame, providing a flexible display panel and attaching a first area of the flexible display panel to the frame. The method also includes attaching a second area of the flexible display panel to the frame, wherein the providing of the flexible display panel comprises attaching a release paper to a surface of the flexible display panel, the release paper comprising first and second release areas respectively corresponding to the first and second areas of the flexible display panel. The method further includes removing the first release area from the flexible display panel before attaching the first area and removing the second release area from the flexible display panel before attaching the second area.
