Protective film, electronic device having same, and method for attaching protection film
An electronic device includes a flexible display module, a window on the flexible display module, and a protective base film on the window, and having a first modulus at a first temperature and a second modulus lower than the first modulus at a second temperature 80° C. higher than the first temperature, wherein the difference between the first modulus and the second modulus may be no greater than about 985 MPa.
TWO-STAGE APPLICATION DEVICE FOR INSTALLING SCREEN PROTECTORS AND KIT COMPRISING THE APPLICATION DEVICE
A two-stage application device is disclosed for installing a screen protector on a display screen of a screen-mounted device. The application device includes a base, a first actuating lever, and a second actuating lever. The base includes an accommodation and a support, wherein the support defines first grooves and second grooves. The first actuating lever has first controlled pivot portions guided and limited by the first grooves, a first pressing portion, a first arm, and a body with a positioning protrusion. The second actuating lever has second controlled pivot portions guided and limited by the second grooves, a second pressing portion, a second arm, and a body. A kit is also disclosed for protecting a display screen of a screen-mounted device, which includes a two-stage application device, and at least one screen protector including a protective film with at least one adhesive layer, and a backing sheet.
Method for manufacturing structure, integrally-molded body, and method for manufacturing integrally-molded body
According to a method for manufacturing a structure that is provided, it is possible to prevent creases on a skin sheet when the skin sheet and a molten resin sheet are integrally molded using a mold. The method provided by the present invention is a method for manufacturing a structure including the step of integrally molding a skin sheet and a molten resin sheet using a mold. The molding is performed with the skin sheet under tension.
Prop wrap
A prop wrap in the current invention can quickly and easily change the appearance of irregularly shaped rigid props used in pageantry art shows and enable the prop to graphically integrate with the show's concept, design, and theme. The prop wrap provides a flexible film on which an infinite number of designs can be applied. These designs include but are not limited to customized patterns that integrate tightly with the shows, school mascots, or group logos. By using the prop wrap a user is not limited to solid colors or simple patterns made available by conventional methods of painting or taping props. Each piece of the prop wrap incorporates a unique cutting pattern that matches a designated surface of a specific prop, such as a particular model and size of mock rifles, shakos, or shoes. This allows the prop wrap to align perfectly to the shape and size of the prop when it is affixed to the prop. The prop wrap also serves to protect the prop itself.
Overlay applicator and method of using the same
An overlay applicator can include an overlay with a top side and a bottom side. The bottom side can include an adhesive agent configured to adhere to a screen of an electronic device. The overlay applicator can include an adhesive release liner. The adhesive release liner can include a top side and a bottom side. The top side of the adhesive release liner can be removably attached to the bottom side of the overlay. The adhesive release liner can be configured to protect the adhesive agent at the bottom side of the overlay from contaminants. The overlay applicator can include a protective film removably attached to the top side of the overlay. The overlay applicator can include an alignment tab. The alignment tab can include an alignment mechanism. The overlay applicator further can include a pull tab. The pull can include a wiper. Other embodiments are provided.
METHOD OF ATTACHING ELASTIC PROTECTIVE FILM ON OBJECT
A method of attaching an elastic protective film on an object is provided. Firstly, the object is provided. Then, an adhesive layer is installed on the object. Then, the elastic protective film is provided. Then, a buffering element is provided. Then, a piercing element is provided. A side of the piercing element facing the buffering element includes plural needle-like structures. Then, the piercing element and the buffering element are pressed on the elastic protective film, the adhesive layer and the object along a first direction. Consequently, the buffering element and the elastic protective film are pierced by the plural needle-like structures. Then, the piercing element and the buffering element are removed along a second direction, wherein the second direction is opposite to the first direction.
SYSTEMS FOR SECURING PROTECTIVE FILMS TO SURFACES OF SUBSTRATES
Systems and films for protecting surfaces of various substrates, including electronic devices, such as portable electronic devices, include a liner with a strip liner and a main liner. The strip liner, which covers a small strip of adhesive on the back side of a protective film, is configured to be removed before the main liner. With the small strip of adhesive exposed, the protective film may be aligned with a substrate and, if necessary, removed from the substrates and repositioned thereon. Thereafter, the main liner may be removed to enable complete application of the protective film to the substrate. Methods for securing protective films to substrates are also disclosed.

Laminate and method for producing laminate
A method for producing a laminate, the method comprising at least a pretreatment step of pretreating a surface of a substrate made of a plastic film by reactive ion etching so that the maximum displacement of the substrate surface measured by local thermal analysis is 300 nm or more, and a lamination step of laminating a thermoplastic resin layer made of a material different from that of the substrate on the pretreated surface of the substrate; wherein the plastic film is a polyethylene terephthalate film.
Liners and methods of making liners
The present disclosure relates to liners and methods of making liners. The liners may be suitable for use with tanks and other storage/containment vessels, such as process tanks, immersion tanks, indoor or outdoor containment pits, gravity feed conduits (e.g., concrete trench, canal, or drain, etc.) for transferring or conveying liquid, grain storage tanks or containers (e.g., dielectric or electrically non-conductive liners for grain storage, etc.), etc.
