Surgical Instrument System and Irrigation Sleeve
A surgical instrument system including an endoscope having an elongated housing extending between a proximal instrument end and a distal instrument end. The surgical instrument system may further include an irrigation sleeve having a sleeve body extending between a proximal sleeve end and a distal sleeve end. The irrigation sleeve may further have a first lumen and a second lumen spaced out of fluid communication with the first lumen, the first lumen formed in the sleeve body for receiving at least a portion of the elongated housing of the endoscope with the distal instrument end arranged adjacent to the distal sleeve end. The second lumen may be formed in the sleeve body and extend between a lumen inlet adapted for fluid communication with an irrigation source and a lumen outlet arranged to direct irrigation fluid toward the distal instrument end.
HYBRID PISTON PIN AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
A hybrid piston pin and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. The hybrid piston pin includes a cylindrical pin formed of steel, a first reinforcement layer that is formed of a composite that includes reinforced fibers and a resin, having a cylindrical shape with a uniform thickness, and coupled to the interior surface of the cylindrical pin. A second reinforcement layer is formed of a composite that includes reinforced fibers having an elasticity that is less than the reinforced fibers of the first reinforcement layer. Further, a resin having a cylindrical shape with a uniform thickness is coupled to the interior surface of the first reinforcement layer.
APPARATUS FOR FORMING A SLEEVE ON A CONTAINER
An apparatus including: a conveyor having a machine direction and a cross-machine direction and a pair of edges spaced apart from one another in the cross-machine direction; a roller mounted to an arm and engaged with a continuous drive, wherein the arm is pivotably mounted to a frame, wherein the roller has a first position and a second position, wherein the roller in the first position is located at a predetermined location above the conveyor and laterally within the pair of edges, wherein the roller in the second position is remote from the predetermined location, and wherein the roller and the continuous drive are separated from one another by an obstruction; a driver operatively engaged with the arm to move the roller from the first position to the second position; and a vacuum port proximal to the roller when the roller is in the first position.

Cutback Method for Intravascular Dilation Catheter
The invention relates to a method for producing a catheter (1) having a proximal segment, a distal segment, and an expandable element (2) arranged in the distal segment, it being possible to bring the expandable element (2) from a contracted state into an expanded state by supply of a fluid and there being arranged around the expandable element (2) in the contracted state a removable protector in the form of a tube (5), and the tube (5) being pulled over the expandable element (2) and being guided with the catheter (1) through one or more nozzles (6), stretching the tube (5) and reducing the inner diameter of the tube (5). Furthermore, the invention relates to a corresponding catheter (1) having a tube (5) pulled over the expandable element (2). The invention provides a catheter (1) having a particularly small cross section in the region of the distal segment.

NEUROVASCULAR CATHETER EXTENSION SEGMENT
A neurovascular catheter extension segment is provided, such as for distal neurovascular access or aspiration. The neurovascular catheter extension segment includes 1) an elongate flexible control wire having a proximal end and a distal end and 2) a tubular extension segment having a side wall defining a central lumen carried by the distal end of the control wire. The side wall of the tubular extension segment includes a tubular inner liner, a tie layer separated from the lumen by the inner liner, a helical coil surrounding the tie layer, and an outer jacket surrounding the helical coil. The extension segment may be introduced into the proximal end of a neurovascular catheter and advanced distally to extend beyond the catheter and thereby extend the reach of the catheter.
Method for laminating a tubular film
The invention refers to a method for laminating a tubular film (1) preferably manufactured by means of blown film (co-) extrusion with a material capable of absorbing resin or liquids, wherein the tubular film (1) is laminated over its entire perimeter with several layers (10, 11, 12, 13; 20, 21, 22; 30, 31) overlapping or positioned directly opposite one another on their front sides containing material capable of absorbing resin or liquids, so that essentially there are no areas left along the perimeter of the tubular film (1) not covered by the laminated layers (10, 11, 12, 13; 20, 21, 22; 30, 31). The invention also refers to a tubular film laminated in such a way and to various applications.
DYNAMIC WALLED TUBING
Methods and devices described for improved dynamic walled tubing and catheters.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING HANDRAIL ASSEMBLY, HANDRAIL ASSEMBLY, SUPPORT FRAME STRUCTURE, AND CHILD CARRIAGE
The invention discloses a method of manufacturing a handrail assembly including steps of 1) providing a first material layer and a second material layer, wherein the second material layer is a hot melt material; 2) stacking the second material layer on the first material layer to form a substrate layer with an integrated structure; 3) curling the substrate layer to form a handrail cover matching a handrail tube, wherein the handrail cover is a sleeve structure and the second material layer is located at an inner side of the handrail cover; 4) inserting the handrail tube matching the handrail cover into the handrail cover to form a handrail assembly semi-finished product; 5) baking the handrail assembly semi-finished product until the second material layer is completely melted; and 6) cooling the handrail assembly semi-finished product after baking to form the handrail assembly.
