Fuel Cell Liner Installation Device And Method Of Use
A fuel cell liner installation device for properly installing fuel cell liners in an aircraft includes a bladder, which is flexible. A connector attached to the bladder is selectively connectable to a source of pressurized gas. In a collapsed state, the bladder is insertable into a cavity in a hull of an aircraft. The cavity is defined by a plurality of stringers that is lined with a plurality of fuel cell liners. Upon inflation, the bladder is sized and shaped substantially complementarily to the cavity and exerts a force upon the fuel cell liners to maintain the fuel cell liners in position as adhesive, which is positioned between the fuel cell liners and the stringers, cures. The bladder then can be deflated and removed from the cavity, positioning a user to install a fuel cell in the cavity.

Method of making an enhanced flexibility neurovascular catheter
A method of making a high flexibility distal zone on a neurovascular catheter is provided. The method includes the steps of dip coating a removable mandrel to form a tubular inner layer on the mandrel, coating the tubular inner layer with a tie layer, applying a helical coil to the outside of the tie layer, positioning a plurality of tubular segments, heating the tubular segments to form the high flexibility distal zone on the neurovascular catheter; and removing the mandrel.
Neurovascular catheter with enlargeable distal end
A neurovascular catheter is provided, such as for distal neurovascular access or aspiration. The catheter includes an elongate flexible tubular body, having a proximal end, a distal end and a side wall defining a central lumen. A distal zone of the tubular body includes a tubular inner liner, a tie layer separated from the lumen by the inner liner, a helical coil surrounding the tie layer, an outer jacket surrounding the helical coil, and an opening at the distal end. Adjacent windings of the helical coil are spaced progressively further apart in the distal direction. The opening at the distal end of the tubular body is enlargeable from a first inside diameter for transluminal navigation to a second, larger inside diameter to facilitate aspiration of thrombus into the lumen.
FOAMED STRUCTURE, RESIN PANEL, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING RESIN PANEL, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING RESIN LAMINATED BODY AND FOAMED BODY
The first aspect of the present invention provides a foamed structure, comprising: a first foamed body extending in a first direction; a second foamed body extending in the first direction and facing the first foamed body with a gap interposed therebetween; and a reinforcement disposed in the gap between the first foamed body and the second foamed body, the reinforcement having an elongated shape, wherein the first foamed body has a portion overlapping with the second foamed body in the first direction view.
Method of and System for Coating a Field Joint of a Pipe
A system for coating a field joint of a pipeline places at least one body having a thermoplastics material around the field joint. The body is heated in a mould cavity around the field joint to effect thermal expansion of the thermoplastics material. Thermal expansion of the body in the mould cavity is constrained to apply elevated pressure between the body and pipe sections joined at the field joint. The elevated pressure improves bonding and fusing between the body, which forms a field joint coating, and the parent coatings and the exposed pipe sections of the pipe joints. The body need not be fully molten, which reduces the mould residence time including in-mould heating and cooling phases.

Apparatus and method for manufacturing a surface-layered part
An apparatus for manufacturing a surface-layered part comprises: a main support that supports a surface layer member to be placed under a base member; a pulling device arranged at a periphery of the main support, wherein the pulling device includes a pulling member that pulls an edge of the surface layer member, which is in a position away from the edge of the base member, outward with respect to the base member; a base member clamping device that fixedly clamps the surface layer member, having been pulled outward by the pulling member of the pulling device, against the main support via the base member placed over the surface layer member; and a relieving device that separates the pulling member from the edge of the surface layer member, which has been moved outward with respect to the base member by the pulling device, to allow the edge of the surface layer member to wrap around the edge of the base member by an elastic restoring force of the surface layer member, thereby integrating them; and a control device that drives and controls the base member clamping device, the pulling device, and the relieving device.
