The disclosure provides a food elevating platform with adjustable elements to selectively engage the walls of a container. The food elevating platform includes a mesh screen to allow liquids from food to pass through and collect in the bottom of the container. The food elevating platform includes one or more engaging surfaces about the edge of the platform that also may engage the surface of the container. One or more logos and/or text may be incorporated into the food elevating platform and/or its components.

A fluid separation apparatus includes a container for capturing liquid juice separated from blended juice. The fluid separation apparatus also includes a filter basket supported by the container. The filter basket includes an upper portion that engages with the container and a cylindrical extension portion that extends from the upper portion. The fluid separation apparatus also has a filtering device that can extend into and through the filter basket. A handheld citrus juicer includes first and second arms with respective inner and outer ends. The inner ends of the arms are pivotally connected such that the outer ends are manually movable relative to each other on an arc centered on a pivot axis. The arms include respective gripping portions adapted to be gripped by an associated user with one hand to squeeze the arms toward each other. The first arm includes a rotatable element connected thereto and selectively manually rotatable by the associated user about a rotational axis. The second arm includes a bowl connected thereto, the bowl aligned with the rotatable element when the first and second arms are moved toward each other. The rotatable element and the bowl are adapted to engage and extract juice from an associated cut-half of citrus fruit located between the rotatable element and the bowl. The rotatable element can be a reamer or a cup.

The present invention may be used for pressing product and draining liquid from canned food such as tuna, drain liquids from canned food such as fruit and vegetables and press out a meat patty such as hamburger and sausage. A cap may have a press attached through a center top hole to the cap. The cap may have a width and height to fit most size canned food. The cap may have a top side drain hole. The press may have a top and a bottom piece that may attach together through center top hole of the cap.

An ergonomic handheld citrus press allowing the use of closed fists and large force of the arms for comfortable and efficient operation, as opposed to the use of open fist and small force in conventional presses.

The ergonomic press is comprised of a first and a second elongated member hinged together at one end. The first member has a concave part with straining holes and the second member has a smaller convex part near the hinge. A first handle extends from the concave part and a second handle extends from the convex part at the opposite side of the hinge.

The first and second member may be rotated toward each other such that the concave part receives the convex part. In closed condition of the press, the handles are parallel and spaced apart by about 5 cm.

The user places a cut half of a citrus such as lemon in the concave part, holds the first handle in one fist and the second handle in another fist, and closes the press against the lemon. The lemon is squeezed between the concave and convex parts and its juice drips out of the straining holes. The distance between the handles provides space for the fists for full closure of the press and comfortable and efficient squeezing of the lemon.

A disposable packaging form is provided for brewed, hot drinks. The invention allows a user to brew the hot drink, squeeze out the brewed contents, and stir the contents of the hot drink. Each action can be performed multiple times before disposal. In some embodiments, the device of the present invention dispenses sweeteners, creamers, flavorings and condiments. The present invention frees the user of the inconvenience of having to collect, wash, or dispose of the stirrers, squeezers and bags of the hot drink individually.
