Casing for preventing distortion and pump including the same
Various pumps capable of preventing distortion are disclosed. A casing of the pump comprises a metal member configured to have at least two sub metal members and a body. Here, the sub metal members are included in the body, and the body is formed of plastic.
COMPOSITE MATERIAL AND METHOD OF FORMING COMPOSITE MATERIAL
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a composite material which when bent and formed, can prevent the occurrence of problems such as the occurrence of wrinkles of the composite material, an increase in the number of forming steps, and difficulty in forming the composite material; and a method of forming the composite material. This composite material (1) comprises a laminate (2) in which a plurality of fiber sheets are laminated, wherein the laminate (2) has a to-be-bent portion (3) that is to be bent along a mold, and in a region (5) of the laminate (2) from an end edge (4) on a bent side to the to-be-bent portion (3), the laminate (2) is divided into a plurality of layers along the plate thickness direction of the laminate (2).
LIGHTNING STRIKE PROTECTION SURFACER AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A thermoplastic surfacer for providing lightning strike protection to a composite component of an aircraft, methods of manufacturing the surfacer, and methods of applying the surfacer to a composite part. The thermoplastic surfacer includes a broadgood having an amorphous thermoplastic resin, one or more fillers embedded into the broadgood, and a lightning strike protection mesh or foil embedded into the broadgood. When applying the surfacer to a composite part of an aircraft, the method includes draping the surfacer on an at least partially unconsolidated composite part, consolidating the at least partially unconsolidated composite part by heating the part to a temperature at or above a melt temperature of a resins used in the part and in the surfacer, and filling at least one surface defect in the consolidated part using the amorphous thermoplastic polymer resin and milled fibers provided in the thermoplastic surfacer.
Composite Crank and Method for Manufacturing the Same
A composite crank has a first metal member, a second metal member, a connecting space, an external fiber member, and a reinforcement fiber member. The first metal member and the second metal member are arranged at a spaced interval to form the connecting space in the composite crank and between the first metal member and the second metal member. The external fiber member is wrapped on and around the first metal member, the second metal member, and the connecting space. The reinforcement fiber member is disposed between the first metal member and the second metal member and has two overlaying segments respectively bonding to two opposite inner sides of the external fiber member along a thickness direction of the composite crank and a rib disposed in the connecting space and connecting with the two overlaying segments. The composite crank is light in weight, and structural strength in a thickness direction thereof can be enhanced.
Butterfly valve and method of manufacturing the same
A butterfly valve which may enhance corrosion resistance or acid resistance with keeping its strength, have light weight and realize mass production, and method of manufacturing the same. are disclosed. The butterfly valve comprises a body in which an inserting space is formed and a disk inserted into the inserting space of the body, wherein fluid flow is opened or closed in response to rotation of the disk. Here, the disk includes a disk body formed of a metal, and at least one plastic layer formed on the disk body.
