Lacrosse head pocket and related method of manufacture
A lacrosse head pocket and a related method of manufacture are provided to facilitate consistent, repeatable and/or custom manufacture of lacrosse equipment. The pocket can be constructed from multiple different sections joined with one another, or can be knitted, weaved or otherwise assembled on an automated assembly machine from strands, and/or can be formed as a unitary textile material having regions/sections with different physical and/or mechanical properties. The pocket can be integrally molded within portions of a lacrosse head to eliminate manually constructed connections between the pocket and lacrosse head. The lacrosse head can be integrally molded with a lacrosse handle to provide a one-piece unitary lacrosse stick. Related methods of manufacturing also are provided.
Repair concept comprising pre-impregnated pinned foam core for sandwich structural components
A method for repairing a sandwich composite structure comprising a pinned foam core. In the sub-region in which the pinned foam core is damaged, the at least one upper or lower cover layer is removed as far as the pinned foam. The pinned foam core is removed. A pinned replacement foam core is inserted, the pinned replacement foam core being impregnated with a resin. An upper or lower replacement cover layer is applied. The pinned replacement foam core and optionally the upper or lower replacement cover layer are cured.

ASSEMBLIES HAVING ENHANCED HEAT TRANSFER THROUGH VASCULAR CHANNELS AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURING ASSEMBLIES HAVING VASCULAR CHANNELS
A power module according to various aspects of the present disclosure includes a housing and a thermally-conductive element. The housing includes a polymer. The housing at least partially defines a channel. The channel is configured to receive a fluid. The thermally-conductive element is disposed at least partially within the housing. The thermally-conductive element is in fluid communication with the channel. The thermally-conductive element includes a thermally-conductive material. The thermally-conductive element is in thermal communication with the channel and a heat source. In certain aspects, includes at least one of a protrusion, a pin, and sheath. A method of manufacturing a channel having a thermally-conductive element for heat transfer includes (a) forming a channel, (b) forming a housing, and (c) removing a sacrificial material.
DAUBER APPLICATOR ASSEMBLY AND A MULTI-LAYERED CONTAINER FOR SOLVENT CEMENT PRODUCTS
Disclosed is a cap 101 and a plastic multilayer container 601 for solvent cement products. Further, the cap 101 comprises a cavity 102. The cavity may be configured to accommodate a metal dauber applicator comprising a metal dauber applicator wire 104, wherein the wire 104 comprises a first end 302 and a second end 304, wherein the first end 302 may be fitted with cotton blob 105. Further, the second end 304 may be shaped. The system 600 may comprise a holding means 103, molded over at second end 304. Further, the holding means 103 is configured to be press fitted in the cavity 102, thereby forming the cap 101 and the metal dauber assembly. Further, the cap 101 may comprise internal threads 106, which enables the cap 101 to be screwed onto a plastic multilayer container 601.
FASTENING INSERT FOR A COMPONENT MADE OF PLASTIC, FOAM OR COMPOSITE MATERIAL
A fastening insert made of plastic with a T-shaped configuration consisting of an insert disc and a hollow cylindrical shaft fastened to the insert disc. The insert disc has a plurality of passage openings arranged off-center, at least one of which has an edge projection extending circumferentially continuously or circumferentially in sections, which is formed as toothing and extends on one side or both sides beyond the respective fastening side of the insert disc. This toothing ensures an additional form-fit connection or fixation of the fastening insert in a preferably fiber-reinforced composite material.
