Three dimensional printing on three dimensional objects
Embodiments of the invention allow performing an additive manufacturing process using a base object. Some embodiments enable placement of a three-dimensional base object inside a three-dimensional printer and print on the base object to produce a three-dimensional product. One exemplary embodiment is a method including: obtaining a representation of a three-dimensional physical object as a base object; obtaining a representation of a three-dimensional physical object as a product producible by adding layers of material on the base object. A representation of a support structure configured to retain the base object position within an additive manufacturing apparatus is determined, and the support structure is produced using an additive manufacturing process. Alternatively, a representation of an on-object structure determined and the on-object structure is produced using an additive manufacturing process by adding one or more layers of material on the base object.
Puncture repair liquid holding container
Provided is a puncture repair liquid holding container. An outflow channel in a cap mounted to an opening portion of a container body for discharging the puncture repair liquid inside the container interior to a container exterior includes a straight portion including an open end opening toward inside the container body and a closed end terminating inside the cap, and a branching portion including a communicating end communicating with an intermediate area of the straight portion and an open end opening toward the container exterior. A through-hole is at the closed end of the straight portion. A projection on a closing plug and slidably inserted to the straight portion is slidably inserted to the through-hole. States are switchable between open and closed states in which the outflow channel is opened and closed by the closing plug and the projection is positioned in the through-hole or projects from the through-hole.

Flat tire repair kit
A puncture repair kit includes a container configured to house puncture repair liquid; a hose configured to be connected to the container and carry the puncture repair liquid into a tire; a compressor configured to supply compressed air for supplying under pressure the puncture repair liquid in the container through the hose; and an assistor configured to correct a tilt of the container when the container is connected to a tire valve via the hose and pendent from the tire valve.
ANAEROBIC COMPOSITE MATRIX RESINS
A matrix resin composition for fiber reinforced composite materials is described. The resin is thermosetting and achieves a glass transition temperature of at least 177° C. (Tg), obtained by curing under anaerobic conditions at room temperature. The matrix resin will streamline composite fabrication processes by eliminating the need for heating during the cure process. The implications of this development are significant in terms of the ease of use and elimination of procedural steps. While the resin system was developed specifically for vacuum bagging, it is expected to be viable for other composite fabrication methods including resin transfer molding (RTM) and vacuum-assisted resin transfer molding (VARTM). The resin system is viable for use with carbon fiber reinforcements to fabricate laminates at least 0.20 inches thick. The resulting laminates have low porosity and mechanical properties equivalent to those prepared with common epoxy matrix resins.
Methods of Bonding Articles Using Moisture-Curing Adhesive Composition
An adhesive composition may be applied to a surface, such as plastic, metal, wood, stucco, plaster, brick, concrete, glass, rubber, tile, fiberglass, ceramic, porcelain, canvas, stone, or drywall. The adhesive-containing surface is then pressed into contact with a second surface to create a strong, watertight bond. The methods disclosed herein may be used to assemble and/or repair a variety of articles and structures, such as roofs, gutters, boats, kayaks, personal watercraft, canoes, rafts, inflatable articles such as toys, sporting equipment, and air mattresses, outdoor equipment, mobile homes, recreational vehicles, campers, garden hoses, low-pressure PVC and plumbing pipes, tents, vinyl awnings, covers and tarps, swimming pools, windows, doors, walls, seams, vents, air ducts, HVAC systems, and the like. Also disclosed herein are methods of testing the bonding strength of an adhesive, methods of affecting underwater repairs, and methods of assembling an all-terrain vehicle.
TRANSPARENCY REPAIR SYSTEM
The present invention provides a composition as well as a method for repairing deep scratches, gouges, etc. and which is particularly useful for aircraft and aerospace transparency repair. The composition is a blend of a polishable two-part, solvent-free, polyurethane coating composition for repairing the transparencies and which, after application, cures to a thermoset polyurethane. An optical grid is emplaced over the area to be repaired prior to applying the blend.
COKE PLANT TUNNEL REPAIR AND FLEXIBLE JOINTS
A coke plant includes multiple coke ovens where each coke oven is adapted to produce exhaust gases, a common tunnel fluidly connected to the plurality of coke ovens and configured to receive the exhaust gases from each of the coke ovens, multiple standard heat recovery steam generators fluidly connected to the common tunnel where the ratio of coke ovens to standard heat recovery steam generators is at least 20:1, and a redundant heat recovery steam generator fluidly connected to the common tunnel where any one of the plurality of standard heat recovery steam generators and the redundant heat recovery steam generator is adapted to receive the exhaust gases from the plurality of ovens and extract heat from the exhaust gases and where the standard heat recovery steam generators and the redundant heat recovery steam generator are all connected in parallel with each other.
