Puncture sealing agent
The present invention provides a tire puncture sealant which exhibits excellent storage stability while having reduced low-temperature viscosity and therefore improved low-temperature injection properties, and also exhibits excellent initial sealing properties and sealing force retention properties. The present invention relates to a tire puncture sealant containing rubber latex and 1,3-propanediol, the 1,3-propanediol being present in a proportion of 55 to 61% by mass of the liquid component.
Puncture repair liquid holding container
Provided is a puncture repair liquid holding container. An outflow channel in a cap mounted to an opening portion of a container body for discharging the puncture repair liquid inside the container interior to a container exterior includes a straight portion including an open end opening toward inside the container body and a closed end terminating inside the cap, and a branching portion including a communicating end communicating with an intermediate area of the straight portion and an open end opening toward the container exterior. A through-hole is at the closed end of the straight portion. A projection on a closing plug and slidably inserted to the straight portion is slidably inserted to the through-hole. States are switchable between open and closed states in which the outflow channel is opened and closed by the closing plug and the projection is positioned in the through-hole or projects from the through-hole.
Flat tire repair kit
A puncture repair kit includes a container configured to house puncture repair liquid; a hose configured to be connected to the container and carry the puncture repair liquid into a tire; a compressor configured to supply compressed air for supplying under pressure the puncture repair liquid in the container through the hose; and an assistor configured to correct a tilt of the container when the container is connected to a tire valve via the hose and pendent from the tire valve.
Motor vehicle comprising a compressor assembly
A motor vehicle with a compressor assembly for the supply of a pressure medium to a tire cavity of a tire of a motor vehicle. The compressor assembly has a compression chamber which is rotationally fixed in relation to the motor vehicle wheel, and the compression chamber and the tire cavity are connected via a fluidic connection for the conveying of a pressure medium from the compression chamber into the tire cavity. A tire sealing device has a sealant reservoir with a first connection fluidically connected to a tire cavity of a tire of the motor vehicle to be repaired, and a second connection fluidically connected to a pressure medium source secured to the motor vehicle. The sealant is conveyed out of the pressure medium source into the tire cavity of the tire to be repaired by means of the pressure medium.
METHOD FOR REPAIRING OR RECYCLING AN ELASTOMERIC FILM
The present invention relates to methods for reprocessing elastomeric films or articles comprising an elastomer film wherein the elastomeric film is made from a polymer latex comprising: (a) particles of a carboxylated conjugated diene nitrile latex polymer (a) obtainable by free-radical emulsion polymerization of a mixture of ethylenically unsaturated monomers comprising: 15 to 99 wt.-% of conjugated dienes; 1 to 80 wt.-% of monomers selected from ethylenically unsaturated nitrile compounds; 0.05 to 10 wt.-% of ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acids and/or salts thereof; 0 to 50 wt.-% of vinyl aromatic monomers; and 0 to 65 wt.-% of alkyl esters of ethylenically unsaturated acids, the weight percentages being based on the total monomers in the mixture in combination or association with (b) particles of a latex polymer (b) comprising at least one oxirane-functional group;
wherein the monomer composition of the latex polymer (a) is different from the monomer composition of the latex polymer (b) and to the use said polymer latex to make an elastomeric film obtained from said polymer latex self-healing, repairable and/or recyclable.
